I got thorn a while back and it hasn't gotten much use since I fully upgraded it. The perks are decent and it looks awesome, but the reload speed and the mag capacity are quite an awful combo. For something that takes a lot of time, effort, and skill to acquire, it just does not pay you back for what you went through to get it. I've compared thorn with the devil you know from the vanguard, and in both strikes and crucible, I got more kills and felt like I accomplished more with the devil you know. A bought vanguard weapon of the same class should never out do an exotic that can only be acquired through a vicious quest line. This is only my opinion but I do feel it needs a buff and soon. People out there are dismantling it do to it's poor performance. That is just sad.
