I'm sorry DeeJ, that you're the one faced with dealing with the backlash and anger about the husk of the game that was released. I know you and most of your colleagues didn't contribute to the awful design decisions and butchering of the game that your fanbase had fallen in love with.
And I'm sorry #Destiny, that you see me as a troll or "whiner" but I'm a fan just like you. I've been a bungie fan since Halo CE.
Now this video explains why the game is what it is, and why so many immature people on the website blindly defend it and worship it. Please take some time to watch it with an open mind.
Then maybe you'll understand why I've tried to open all of your eyes to the atrocities that have occurred involving this games development.
Just a disclaimer, it's not my video I just agree with most of it

Clearly enjoying what you have is a lesson that many gamers need to learn. People who defend Destiny aren't trying to defend corporate greed, they're trying to tell people that if they actually appreciated the things they have, maybe they'd be happier with something which in the end boils down to a game. A game. And a game that people are so overtly passionate about that they will verbally assault you for disagreeing with anything they complain about. Perhaps if people were presenting their issues in a more peaceful manner there wouldn't be a need to strike that balance of taking the opposite stance. Knowing that there are issues to be improved, but being happy with the game you have. That's where you want to be. Apparently the Destiny community is not there yet, and I seriously doubt it will ever get there, especially if posts like this continue.
