I never saw the point in 3 of the same class. Make one of each class, loot drops are random, so you're still able to do the Raid and the Weekly Nightfall and the Weekly 3x a week, building up Strange Coins to buy from Xur, and if you are already rocking an Exotic weapon on your Titan, well maybe that one Atheon just dropped would be perfect for your Warlock or Hunter. Plus having 3 different characters makes you flexible and able to bring in a character for any situation you and your friends may require. Much more fun than, well I can bring my Titan, my Titan or my Titan. I see a lot of people do that, it's just goofy, and in my opinion, shouldn't be allowed. There's three slots, one for each class. But to each their own.
