Destiny Theories

I'm going to start this off by saying I haven't gotten all the Grimoire cards yet, so I'm probably missing a chunk of lore. But, anyways, I've been thinking about this since before the game even came out: what if the Traveller made the Awoken as its own army, but it couldn't control them, so it tried using some "divine intervention" powers to plant the idea of making Exos? Some evidence for the theory: the Awoken showed up as soon as the Traveller did, and little was known about them. They also have that crackling blue energy that Ghosts, and other things associated with the Traveller, have. But the Awoken shook off the Traveller's influence, and the Traveller decided it needed to influence the "lesser evolved" species (hint hint, humans, hint hint) to build a robotic army. But everyone underestimated the technology they were given, and then HAL happened(the technology evolved and became smarter, and gained sentience, personalities, etc.), so the Traveller , after wasting energy to make the Awoken and Exos, decided it needed to recharge its batteries(?) so it made the Ghosts "in its dying breath" to keep watch over everything while it slept. But why did everyone forget all this?
The Traveller has a Neuralizer.
Ok, no more sarcasm. If the Traveller can already will humans to make a robot army, I'm pretty sure it can give them a mind wipe. So that's my conspiracy theory, what do you all think?
