Honestly AR are still strong choices for PvP (shadow price, vanquisher, Galahad, Suro's) The scout rifle, vision of conflux is a strong choice, I personally switch from Suro's to The Last Word hand cannon and been loving it. Gun balance is pretty excellent. My only real gripe is map design, far too many maps cater to CQC shotgun/melee shenanigans. Nerfing them really didn't matter seeing as how the maps are almost perfect for them. More mid rang maps like shores of time, rusted lands, etc...would greatly improve the variety of gunfights in PvP.
