This is a YouTube video explaining why Hunters are a bit unbalanced in PVP. Now this isn't a Hunter hater post. But I think you'll appreciate his suggestions and the reasons why.
For those who just want a summary:
The biggest thing about Hunters is that with their Super ability they don't have to commit as much as a Titan or Warlock to it. When a Titan uses Fist of Havoc if there is no one around then tough luck. If a Warlock uses Nova Bomb and doesn't hit anyone...oh well. But with both Arc Blade and Golden Gun a Hunter is able to activate these Supers and then actually go.....on a hunt. Meaning they don't have to commit as much to their Super as the other classes.
His suggestions I believe are fair for everyone. He (or his friend) suggested that the timer be reduced on both supers to about 5 seconds. And with each kill or shot could add additional time as 5 seconds to create that sense of urgency.
The more responses we get the more likely we can get this out. Please feel free to leave productive and constructive opinions and responses. If you simply agree then please write *signed*
I will also mention this. In the video he states going over Bungies data over the last month and it says that out of the best 100 PVP players over 50 are Hunters cause of the ability to consistently get 3 kills with supers. He did his own research and out of all classes Hunters get the most kills out of their Super in comparison. 17% for Hunters and others are at 9%. That's almost double. This is based on statistics stated in the video and I hope you all can appreciate that.

Edited by Dreaming Sky: 10/21/2014 1:45:51 PMThe data in the linked article is almost a month old. The numbers have changed since then. My personal opinion, Gunslingers are MUCH more nasty than Bladedancers. I hope I'm not breaking some kind of Code of Silence to put that out there, but seriously. Dancers make multi-kills if they find a team fairly bunched up. Slingers make multi-kills if they can see three people (four with Achylophage). For combat: Gunslinger > Bladedancer For team medic: Bladedancer > * I actually think Dancers are better in PvE for their stealth medic aspect (almost better than Fireborn IMO), while Slingers are PvP kings. JM2c, and I'm avowedly not a Crucible expert. Proofread edit: also, Dancer grenade options are trash, except Flux which is semi-decent (but weaker than any other sticky).
