A game mode where you can have a fireteam of three battling against endless waves of enemies in an open arena. On an arena where there is enough cover to protect yourself from incoming fire, but not enough to hide from enemies in a corner and shoot at them. The objective is to survive the longest and see how many waves you and your fireteam can beat. Every twenty waves (for example), one of the bosses (and some other enemies) from the main story would show and the fireteam would need to defeat it. The higher the waves are the more difficult the waves become. Then the strike bosses come out and play.
Imagine three guardians alone in the middle of an open arena, then enemies start pouring out of no where, Destiny's soundtrack blasting in your ears, guns firing, and rockets exploding. Players would be competing for the highest kills or the highest waves they past. Maybe add in a new gear rewards like the Raid Gear. Like Survival Gear or Endurance Gear. Just ideas.
I miss the endless waves gameplay and would love to play it again.
If interested, please through in you comments and you opinion.
Thanks.

Not going to be negative because i posted this idea, and I've noticed that a few hundred people have posted this also. Seems like nobody is listening.

I agree this would be a cool idea for additional content, but only if it was done well, had base dofficulty settings, and rewarded players properly. I deffinetly would like to see more game type variety over just more strikes, crucible, raid ect maps. What do you think about maps and enemies for it though? Should there be for example a venus map with only vex, a variety of enemies at once ect? The base idea is awesome, lets expand on it!

If they had this it would stop people from complaining about the lack of content because I'm sure that would be enough till dlc's come out.

Maybe Fallen tanks and other surprises can randomly show up. Once it gets too difficult, players can send an all-broadcast SOS to other guardians in the system to assist before they're killed.
