I have played Bungie games since Halo Combat evolved. For the past 10 years I have been a fan of the art and community that has evolved from such a fantastic series of games and it has been this experience that drove me to buy Destiny. I enjoy the game and I'm glad to see that Bungie reacts evolves the gameplay as I have come to expect over the years. The problem is the community is split. We have the new first class citizens (PS4 and PS3) and the second class citizens (Xbox one and Xbox 360).
I understand that until now Bungie has been exclusive to Microsoft and there's bad blood because of it. I can even understand that Bungie has had to lure in the PSN community with a little something special-special, but its easy to forget that we are NOT your enemy. We as the players didn't lock you into contracts, we supported you and raised you to be the company you are today and without us you would have lost it all. I am certain that a huge population of the xbox community bought this game because of your time with Halo.
I heard yesterday about the 1 year exclusive content to PS4 and several times I have read exclusive events for PS4 and it feels and smells like Bungie is taking a literal shit on its xbox community. We all play games and just want to have fun playing the content we love to enjoy and I'm sure many can agree that a 1-2 week advance would be more than sufficient to give the PSN community the edge that they have paid for.
Just remember 1 year advance is not advance (they could practically make a whole new game in that time) its withheld game content to a second class community.

I've been an Xbox-live subscriber since the month the service launched, and I bought a 360 day 1. Stood in line for each Halo game's midnight release. It was my favorite Xbox game, and its exclusivity was why I elected not to purchase a Playstation 3. But I will absolutely not play Xbox One. I wouldn't accept one for free except to sell or destroy it. Never forget that Microsoft tried to betray all gamers to the NSA when it announced its latest system, and lost a significant part of its core audience forever. It means nothing that they backtracked, because now we know what they WANT to do to us. Now we know how little we could ever matter to them. Imagine being Bungie, obligated by contract to create content exclusively for this company. Would you like it? Microsoft deserved to lose Bungie. Destiny's exclusive content is exactly where it belongs. Remember that Microsoft is the company that bought Rare just to destroy their opposition (Nintendo), ruining a company that created some of the best games of all time. Current-generation Xbox gamers are traitors to their own kind and deserve absolutely nothing.
