(Controls are Xbox in this note) I think that a feature that should be included when exploring a planet or doing a mission your guardian should get a map by holding up their ghost and holding A or B (timing should be slightly faster than getting out your sparrow). This map would show your location, the areas (like the rocket yard or the mothyard), beacons in the area, and the main mission marker. Overall it would show the entire area (as seen when the planet is clicked on), using the triggers to zoom in and out of areas, and the B could be used to exit out of the map.
