Armor engram for the wrong class
I just had my first Legendary engram drop. I nearly crapped myself. I took it to the cryptarch and it actually went UP to Exotic! I've NEVER had that happen before (most of them would usually downgrade). So I go to equip my new exotic armbands, and I can't. They're Hunter only, and I'm a Warlock. Someone PLEASE tell me this is a bug and that Bungie will fix it automagically. I've never seen or heard of this happening before, and I can't exactly trade it to someone else. I'm super frustrated now, is this fixable???

1 ReplyLegendary and exotic engrams are not locked to your class. I decrypted my first legendary engram as a warlock....annnnnnd it was for a titan. I decrypted my first exotic engram from xur as a warlock...annnnnnd it was also for a titan. So you bet you I started a titan. She's a nice level 22 now. So either dismantle or shove in the vault for when you do play a hunter.

Dude this is complete bull. Whoever came up with this system is a real a**. I have had 12 exotic chest engrams and in total exotic engrams, 38ish(this excluding any pitches by Xur of course). And in each and every one of them it's been 90% bare minumum a titan or warlock item.😡😡

I have 2 characters, a lvl 28 hunter and a lvl 25 titan. so far ive bought 2 exotic helm engrams, had 2 legendary engrams upgrade to exotic and found one exotic arm engram and all of them came out warlock. it some how feels like the odds are stacked agent me, even tho it should be 2/3that I get something I can use. seem like bungie is forcing me to make a warlock, just so I can pull a different class of exotic. needless to say I started leveling a warlock after the 5th disappointment

1 ReplyI've had this happen to me also, twice. I keep getting Titan gear and I'm a Hunter. What ever was changed about 10 days made me a target. All I do is die and respawn. The Crucible has became "No Fun"! Dying and respawning has become old. When I actually earn armor and I'm given the wrong kind, it makes me wonder what's going on? Is anyone working on fixing this?
