I've had it with the comparison between both games. "Destiny is a bad game, CoD had this or that" "In CoD blah blah blah... Destiny PvP is unfair and exotics should be nerfed" "The storyline is awful and full of questions gone unanswered" (good you, FPS player, now know what an MMO is) "The expansions should have been released at launch" (No. They shouldn't have. Good on sticking to your guns Bungie) "Remove Xur, it's not fair everyone gets the same weapons after grinding for the coin and working hard for it" (Again, no. And AGAIN, welcome to the MMO community, FPS player.) Read the forums and there are countless examples of what people think this game should be or have or deliver. This game, Destiny, it's a game not like others. A game that requires strategy, a thought process, time, trials, deaths, preparation, teamwork!! It's not an FPS where the best quick scope shot carries the team to a victory. This game is more balanced shooter than CoD will ever be. Yes there were hiccups like a one shot across the map with a shotgun had to be fixed. Never the less you actually have to aim and use cover to succeed in this game. Play the PvP like you did in CoD (where, with little to no skill, you could always finish in first place) you will always get owned in the crucible. It's way more rewarding in this game when you stomp the other team using teamwork. [i](personally I tend to follow others as to watch their flanks when they are running into the open guns a blaze)[/i] So please all the FPS fanboys just wait advance warfare is just around the corner. But I believe after playing that game and the DLC's come out with "gun skins" making them look like toys. Destiny will thrive once you FPS'ers are back to your game style thriving for that positive K/D and headshot frenzy CoD is known to be all about. And you will be back looking for something more amusing like the feeling you get when you were able to generate 7 orbs for your teammate who picks them up and generates 7 more for you! All this to say you can't compare two completely different games. And chop one up to a billion pieces because it's out of your comfort zone.
