Considering that Destiny is (in essence) a systematic rip off of the races in many ways, I find this topic entertaining. Fallen = Elites. Even their avoidance maneuvers are exactly the same to dodge gunfire. Don't get me started on the similarity between the Needler and the new and improved "blue" version of it held by some Fallen. Hive = Flood. Warped fallen, "thralls"? Obvious Flood. Cabal = Brutes. If I have to explain this, wow. Vex = No addition and not within the Halo Universe. Extremely similar backstory and functionality to the "Reapers" from the mass effect storyline in terms of their desires. Ghosts = Cortana. Duh..... And let's not forget about the peasants in game/on the forum who equate to Mendicant Bias thus doing their best (as it did) to destroy something. Please Note: I am well aware how some peasants like to steal comments, copy/paste, and claim they are their own. Have at it.....

EDIT INCOMING. #1 Halo factions vs Destiny factions UNSC, Covenant, Flood...I'd say the only military power in Destiny that stands any kind of chance against any of those would be the Cabal. #2 Dregs vs Grunts I'd give it to the Dregs, the Dregs are like Jackals and the Jackals could outfight the grunts so yeah, Dregs. #3 Brutes vs Cabals Cabal all the way, Brutes are fierce to be sure but they don't have shit on the cabal. #4 Jackals vs Hobgoblins Hobgolbins Vs Shield Jackals? Hobgoblins win...Hobgolbins Vs Sniper Jackals? Dem sniper Jackals would wreck the hobgoblins..dat Beam Rifle.. #5 Elites vs Knights Elites for sure, if you go by Halo lore they aren't just Aliens, they are proper warriors, they even got compared to samurai at one point. The knights are like Warrior Wasps, defend the higher power, nothing more to them, sort of an unintelligent version of Elites you could say. #6 Cortana vs Peter Cortana...dat booty.. #7 Halo sniper rifle vs Ice Breaker/P&T H2 sniper all the way. #8 Halo grenades vs Destiny grenades Halo grenades for sure, better bounce and better power all around. #9 Scorpion vehicle vs Goliath tank Goliath Tank for sure. It's able to move in all directions apart from up and down, it has a beast of a cannon and missile launchers, it also has thrusters for mobility and crazy good armor. Scorpion has Tungsten rounds firing cannon, a chain gun and is limited in mobility. #10 Banshee vs Interceptor Do a barrel roll! Banshee for the win. #11 Warthog vehicle vs Pike vehicle As much as i hate to say it, the pike would win out on this. better wepaons, better mobility and it can dodge fire. #12 Energy swords vs Bladedancers. Hrmmm energy swords, Energy sword may have a limited use but Bladedancers have a limited time. they would be our done in a sword fight. #13 Spartan lasers vs Fusion rifles. Fusion Rifles due to it's Charge Rate compared to the splazor. #14 Mongoose vehicles vs Sparrow vehicles. Mongoose, you can have a passenger firing rockets...sparrow is a one Guardian only vehicle. #15 Halo camouflage vs Hunter invisibility Halo camo, actually looks like camo.. #16 Halo bubble vs Titan bubble Evenly matched actually. Titan bubble can be outright destroyed with enough damage, the bubble shield can't be destroyed unless you are inside the bubble. #17 Halo Gravity Hammer vs Titan FOH. Titan FoH wins out. easy decision. #18 Halo flamethrower vs Sunsinger Sunsinger, Flamethrower is only as good as the person using it where as a sunsinger is obviously skilled in being a sunsinger. #19 Halo regeneration vs Warlock self res Halo Regen, It's constant where as the self res is situational. #20 Plasma Pistols vs Hand Cannons Hand cannons, Plasma is good against shields but does pretty much -blam!- all else. #21 Halo Smgs vs Destiny ARs Destiny AR's. Halo SMG had crazy recoil and was stupid inaccurate, even when trying to use burst fire. #22 Scarab vs Spider Walker Scarab would wreck the Devil Walkers, they are like three times the size and have crazy OP weapons.

Halo SMG = Accurate to what an SMG is like IRL, Fast fire, inaccurate and short range. Destiny AR = Mid/short range but still usefulish at long. VERY accurate for the type of wep. Try getting a headshot with an SMG in halo from 15 feet away lol
