Question about vanity upgrades
Hey all, hoping someone can clarify...
So I understand the benefits of wearing Faction vanity items, i.e. if I have a Dead Orbit Cloak for my Hunter then all my PvE and PvP marks go toward the purchase of Dead Orbit goodies. Got it.
But what about the bands/marks/cloaks purchased from the Speaker? Do those actually [i]do [/i]anything? Or is it just a really expensive bit of flair?

They do cause all reputation gains to go to either the Vanguards or Crucible, so they sort of do something. But yes, they are expensive flair.
