Dear PS4 users,
We (Bungie) -blam!-ed up....again.... and while sony does the work on the PSN side of things, you won't be able to play unless you were online prior to the maintenance (10amPST-5PM). We didn't even think that this would be an issue on a Monday, but then again like so many other times we didn't think about the world. Like Canadian players who are on holidays today. We're sorry, and in light of all our -blam!--ups we think it's time we give the community that has stood by us (Sometimes we think you're all saints, each and every one of you) and helped make this game grow. One of our Future DLC's will now be our GIFT to you. Not the first two however (for those who bought a season pass, we want to honor those that paid for that DLC) Again, it is with deep sympathy for the community that loves our game so much that we have to post this and some of your are forced to read this and not be saving the Galaxy as your Guardian.
I figured since Bungie dropped the ball.............again.... I'd run with it....

1 ReplyMy final comment, In the time I posted this, 3 more threads asking why, and 6 more posts on FB asking why.... If Bungie communicated things far more clearly....this whole thread and many others like it...wouldn't be needed. So before you go all Super Hero Nerd on me....remember, I'm pissed not because they are down....but because I had to rely on OTHER users for information...like many other times with Destiny...I shouldn't have to....nobody should. "Oh you're not a gamer if you don't look at every thread in a forum to find a solution." You know how many people DON'T join clans cause they don't want to navigate sites just for one thing? It's quite simple... GOOD PR: ************UPDATE Currently the PSN network is under going maintenance, during this time anyone who wasn't already in game will not be able to sign into Destiny to play. Bad PR: ************************Login to PSN won't be available from 10am-5pm ^ That says we shouldn't be able to be online....at all...but if you turn on your PS4...BLAM even your friends are online...I can play NHL 15...Minecraft....DCUO...ETC....but no Destiny....Why? Got a reason...or is that Red Bar my life line?
