Yes the raid is fun and all gives great gear, etc. but many people are locked out of it from being unable to get a group of 5 other like minded players together. We learned about The Trials of Osiris a good ways before launch and it was meant to be the Crucible counter part to the raid giving similar statted gear and yet there has been no info on it since launch.
Also someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe The Trials of Osiris is the only way to recieve The Fate of all Fools an exotic scout rifle.

Edited by Jebus Kreist: 10/11/2014 11:01:16 PMTrue about Fate of Fools. But I have this eerily terrible and probably true feeling that they are holding back on this and similar content so they can feed it to us in tiny inter-voles to try and hold us over until dlc's. Not only did they make the Iron Banner into Crucible Control 2.0 without even having the heavily advertised "YOUR GEAR AND LEVEL ACTUALLY MATTER", but they made it limited time only. Trials of Osiris will more than likely be the same, a limited time event except with a limited time Exotic Bounty attached to it. And at that it will probably be yet another "Everything is balanced the same regardless of level to the point that nothing is balanced at all" like the Crucible, and the Grieved Iron Banner. Rest in Pepperoni, Destiny PvP, You sucked pretty bad.
