Seriously, everyone needs to chill out, I get that you want to play and that you are in EU, or a college kid, or a person with time off, but seriously, Tuesday has always been patch day for most games and OS's for that matter. Yes it's inconvenient but it makes the game better and more stable. Plan your gaming habits around Patch Tuesday, because, that's the day it should be down for maintantence and patching. It's been an industry standard for years, please just learn to deal.
I would say, having dedicated servers for EU players would make sense, so that they dont screwed over. They can get patched on Tuesdays, at their 9am-3pm timeframes (no patching doesnt ususally last 6 hours, but it can, shit Ive seen it last over 12). Of course that may not work, because then they get "new stuff" before NA, so who knows.
All that said tho, there needs to be a consistent day and time, Tuesday seems to be that, and they arent going to pay extra money to night staff to patch a game over night, when they can shut the agme down dbusiness hours when MOST of the player base is at school, at work, or asleep. Just relax. Seriously.
EDIT: for awful spelling and grammar issues, which are still there but trust me, it's better.
