If your team looses in iron banner you will earn no progress... The result is that if one team just seems to be stronger than the other people start to quit. Sometimes almost the whole weaker team. And no i wont sue anyone, i still enjoy destiny. I only think sometimes that the person who is in charge for the loot and rewards in destiny, was never in touch with videogames before in his/her life. Please be more creative in future content when it comes down to rewards. And think about the consequences. Just seems like another lazy decisions regarding loot. I love the game, but the biggest flaws for me are always regarding loot and rewards since destiny launched. Tldr. If a team is worse than the other they gonna quit the game and start a new match. Annoying for players who stay and have to face a whole team solo then for a while.
