We who suck at Crucible
Let's share our stories about our suckage.
My first Crucible experience:
- Rumble, Moon
- What's this map? Why can't we practice among ourselves against CPU in these maps?
- Where did that shot come from?
- I have no idea where to go
- Is this my fifth death in one minute?
- Crap, I missed. Won't change my controller sensitivity (1) though
- I CAN'T EVEN SEE ANYONE
- That's it, quitting forever. Screw the exotic bounty
My second Crucible experience:
- Rumble, Earth
- Ooooh, I stabbed someone!
- Ooooh, got shotgunned! And sniped! And punched! Must be at least 4 deaths in a row without a kill
- This map is really confusing, the enemies can come from anywhere
- I'M NOT CHANGING MY PISTOL
- Well OK, I'll try Fusion Rifle, got one equipped
- I CAN'T HIT A SINGLE THING
- Quit forever
My third Crucible experience:
- Control, Earth
- Oooh, I got buddies this time!
- Where did they all go?
- I still can't fathom this map.
- There's my buddy! OH WAI-
- I'm getting that flag. No enemies nearOH WAIT
- WHY CAN'T WE LEARN THESE MAPS IN SINGLEPLAYER BEFORE COMING HERE TO HUMILIATE OURSELVES
- MY WEAPONS SUCK
- NO I SUCK
- WHY DOESN'T ANYONE ELSE SUCK
- Hehee, nevermind, got one. I think he/she was AFK though. But at least I got one!
- This isn't so bad. Just be patient and thWHERE THE HELL DID THAT SHOT COME FROM
- I'M DONE. QUITTING FOREVER.
So I quit Crucible forever and left it for the players who know what they're doing. How was your day?

Seriously the worst multiplayer ive ever seen. You guys have pampered every single cheap player and just made it absolutely discouraging for anyone to pick up. period.

Don't you really hate it when you get put into a game in progress and your team Is losing 3k-18k and get spawn killed and also when hammers 1 shot you as blade and you hit them twice

This is my first FPS ever and my husband has been trying to get me to do pvp. Ugh it's awful!! Why do people even like this? All it does is put me in a bad mood because I suck so badly at it and I always rank last.

My KD isn't too bad but there is one thing i just cannot do and that is win a -blam!-ing match! i have literally just played 10 games of rift and only needed to win one game to complete a bounty. it's like the games knows i'm trying to do it and makes me lose!

Lol. They can say what they want over and over again. But that "level advantages disabled" BS, is pure BS plain and simple! 32's almost always dominate. OPed exotics ALWAYS the most deadly. They need to change the whole system in my opinion. A gun should be a gun. Period. Level out the playing field. Every other first person shooter PVP play is leveled out. Why does Bungie feel the need to incorporate their exotics and legendary armor as factors in PVP. That's the problem. Learning maps take time. Like all games. But getting sniped by a thorn and not even knowing where it came from is horseshiit. Need replay of your deaths. And lastly, eliminate supers from the crucible. As if over powered exotics werent a big enough problem as they are, now I gotta get annihilated by a flying purple nova bomb every single second and there's NOTHING that can be done about it? It doesn't even take aim or skill. Just press 2 buttons together somewhere near someone. Or a whole bunch of people. It doesn't make sense. If your having "faction games" to use supers. Srry. Disagree all you want.

Theres one quick shoot him "Blamo" i got him what he is not dead nooooooooooooooooo he is shooting back, Crap i died 'Whoo hoo but i got the kill on the guy who shot. OK it was like 3 seconds after i shot that i got the kill" Awsome crappy internet its soo good i can get kills from the grave everytime. Booom yea baby i just blew that guy up with my rocket, oh no wait, crap he shot me a nd im dead nooooooo wayyyyyyyyyy, hahahahahahahahahahaha he did die by me rocked it just took 3 seconds for him to realise he was dead. So after 1 hour of Crucible trying for a 25 kill death spread. i am on 14 after hitting 10 early then hovering up and down making it to 20 then back and up and back. All i gotta say is the Exotic bounty for a weapon im trying to complete better be good and usuable cos if its not im gonna puch bungie in the face

One word to get better at the cruciible "comfort". You need to get a gun, a sub class your comfortable with. Also play control first before any other mode. As there are three check points people follow a more linear path so easier to learn the map without the radar going all aliens on you.

If people roll in CoD style expecting to play the "whoever shoots first gets the kill" then they will get destroyed every time. Pro tips - crouching takes you off the radar, play to your strengths and play defensively. Draw your opponents out and try to make them come out into a vulnerable spot. Use their radar to draw them around a corner and use your shottie. You have to play with your opponents mind, make them think you are about to sprint around a corner then back away to draw them out of cover to get the headshots in. You can't play it like PvE, your playing smart skilled humans, not AI with patterns. The best results come from making your opponent think you are terrible or making them think they have learned your patterns, then switch it up and use it against them. Just slow down and crouch, it works wonders. Running and gunning gets you killed every time, keep an escape route close to back out of am engagement.

1 ReplyThis game is the first one that an NPC announcer got mad and yelled at me cause I was so bad. AN NPC! Lolz we were getting slaughtered and the announcer yells out (angrily mind you) "CAPTURE THE ZONES!" It was pissed.

First match I got DCed before it started. AWESOME CONNECTIONS, YAY! Second match, I managed to kill 21 enemies for a 2.1 K/D and managed to get my first (and probably only) 10 kill streak medal and my second "Best Around" (which confuses the shit out of me because I really don't know how I ever managed to get one before this). Third and fourth matches were join in progress, so...not pretty; load in, immediately get murdered, respawn, and die a lot. 0.5 and 0.44 K/D respectively. These were very painful; I do not enjoy getting shotgunned in the dick. Or the face. Or anywhere else, really. I also don't enjoy getting arc-bladed to the [i]anywhere[/i], especially after I already shot you point--blam!-ing-blank with my own shotgun and I know you should be seven kinds of dead right now! Last match! My tolerance for the crucible is nearing its limit and my bounty is aaaaalmost done! 2.43 k/d and a First Blood medal, thus completing the pvp portion of the Invective quest chain. I'm probably done with the crucible for a month or so now.

I love this post, But more importantly, I love all the rage quitters and noobs who complain about how broken the pvp in destiny is because they suck. 10/10 dude

1 ReplyPvp in destiny sucks. Match making is a joke. I have the same experience as you man. But im lvl 30 and im trying to get the exotic bounty done and iron banner for the light lvl 36 gauntlets. Well teo hours of playing and i cant even get two full bounties for iron banner done. I really wanna give up but the game hates me all together. I never get ascendent shards i have more energy then anyone and i can never up grade armor. -_-.. in all words i feel you and wanna complain so im putting this game on the shelves for a while..

Funny ;-) There is no such thing as a hopeless case. Your first 50+ games especially when you are used to Mouse&Keyboard are horrible in any console shooter. I´m living proof, it took me 200+ games to get all my three chars above 1.0 kd and now I´m enjoying the hell out of IB.

As for the map run around it takes like 5 secs to know everything. Your like my gf she goes down the same road 5 or 6 times every month and still get lost like wtf.

I can't think of any other game where such a large amount of the players you encounter are just beyond terrible. I'd rather play Iron Banner 1v6 then have randoms on my team because all of them go negative every single game.
