This is hilarious. For all of you who make comments about being 1.0 or better kd ratio, wow really? The game was set up for a whole different type of gameplay, just because a pvp is different from all of the cookie cutter pvp's in other games you freak out. I could run around for hours and get my kd to 1.0 or I could be a pussy camper and pick off 1 or 2 people a match while effectively hiding thus giving me this unreliable big dick mentality that "I am the best ever at this game because I have a badass kd. I get it, if you are sitting at like 5.0 or 6.0 you are obviously skilled. I have played against someone who had the mythoclast and killed them multiple times using environment advantages, vehicles, turrets, and my fellow teammates. Sorry your attempts to constantly throw yourself at him to no avail to just feed his kd. Thus making anybody who complains about this op weapon or any other, a poor pvp player who believes in constant run and gun tactics or camping. In other words a complete loser and child. Conform to the game that is or just get the -blam!- off my map. I personally enjoy killing somebody with an op weapon, its mutch the feeling of blow drying my member when its dry.

I'm a pretty good crucible player, but do think there are balancing issues. Auto rifles for one have the same range as scout rifles and they shouldn't. Because of that, Suros Regime is OP and you can't say it isn't. I'm tired of constantly losing gunfights to it and am wanting a patch to come soon. Nerf auto rifles in general, not just the Suros. As for the Mythoclast, I haven't run into it yet so I have nothing to say about that.

I'd like to start my post by saying I've never used the VM and I'll be the first to admit I'm no "elite" PVP player, in fact, I'm pretty average. But I have played many FPS games and still am an MMO player, so have seen these types of "nerf" many times before. With that out of the way, did the VM need the nerf? Well, the answer is yes and no. It most certainly didn't need to be nerfed in PVE, but in PVP, it did, no doubt about it and here's why; Crucible is designed to be a level playing field that any level player can participate in, a blue grade Shingen can just as easily win a fight as an exotic grade Suros. The Vex however, was on a whole other level, and if you were in range of that thing, anyone with half a braincell could mow you down. Even when I went face to face using a maxed out Swarm, we traded kills. I may be average, but I can still aim and this to me just reinforced the point - this thing can kill as quick as a heavy weapon. Most players I can go back to and get a "revenge" kill, but every Mythoclast I've seen has caused nothing but problems - you can't honestly tell me it's all skill, we all know there's a lot of people who have these who didn't truly "earn" it and were just given the checkpoint and a "cheese it" win. Anyone remember COD:MW2? The dual akimbo or the "care package knife" sprees? They got fixed pretty quick, and rightly so, they unbalanced the game. This is what the Vex does, it unbalances the crucible to the point where, if you aren't using it, you probably aren't winning. There's a clear reason why the owners of this weapon want it back, it's because of how strong it is. I see too many people saying "get good, it's easy to outgun", but if this were completely true, why would they be so hellbent on using the gun? I can only hope the nerf is a temporary solution to restore balance to crucible and further adjustments are to come. Because despite how it unbalanced the crucible, I still don't think it deserved the nerf it got, not entirely. I think the best solution would be for it to have separate stats for PVP, so it can maintain its position in PVE. I'd even be fine with it having its unrestricted stats in Iron Banner (let's not get into the issues with IB here though), after all, yes, you did (or a lot of you anyway) earn it and should have something good to show. I'm not without sympathy though, I've been on the receiving end of these nerfs in other games and I'll admit it does leave a sour taste, but all I can say is you'll get used to it over time.

Agreed, and here is why; Don't have purple gear? Never found a purple engram? It doesn't matter because you can grind strikes get Vanguard Marks and eventually get a full set of it with some WORK. Crying about an exotic piece? No problem; after you have bought all your purple gear, do strikes for coins.....save them, buy what you like. Don't have acendent shards, but you have your purple gear and exotic already? Too easy, buy more vanguard armor and break it down and get your shards, burn motes of light at Xur and break your random down, or message people in the tower and see if they want to raid and get Acendant shards there, some people who have raided are willing to help. Someone is not gonna ask you if you want to do a nightfall, or a raid. Legendary weapons and armor aren't just going to get handed to you, unless you get lucky in the crucible or you find a purple drop randomly from trash mobs. Stop whining and start being proactive If you are 23 and complaining....you're wrong....get out there and get your OP stuff. If Bungie keeps nerfing the hard weapons and gear to get, and puts everyone on the same playing field, what would be the point of raiding? Everyone has the ability to get awesome gear......but its not going to be handed to you for doing a level 24 normal strike.

Just wait until Advanced warfare comes out and all the crybaby players will be wanting all those weapons nerf because they can't learn how to play a game right

Exactly. The active word should be "BALANCE".....not "NERF"....."[b]BALANCE[/b]" And as it stands, the Exotics should stay the way they are. Imagine you take the time to go through VOG on hard mode, get a great weapon, and the next day it is nerfed. I don't know about anyone else, but I would be a highly irritated. I would rather have the Exotics removed from PVP or have a PVP tiered for Exotic users before a nerf. Because it's damn well not fair to those that don't PVP to have their Raid prizes reduced to trash, because someone is crying that they got killed by a weapon in a PVP match.

While I do agree that the game needs "OP" weapons, there is a difference between having an "OP" weapon, and using nothing but your "OP" weapon. Take Fusion Rifles, for example. They absolutely destroy in both regular Crucible, and Iron Banner. Now combine that with the plethora of Special Ammo drops around the map, and the absolutely ridiculous amount of time between Special Ammo drops, and once you have a Fusion Rifle in your hand, you can almost single-handedly hold your own against half the other team. I play games all too often where the entire other team is running around almost exclusively using Fusion Rifles, and it really does get frustrating. So the game doesn't necessarily [i]NEED[/i] "OP" Weapons and Armor, rather less freedom with the Weapons and Armor. If you compare Call of Duty to Halo, you will see so many differences. The differences I want to point out, however are the fact that in Halo - Excluding Halo 4 - Everything is balanced, due to the fact that you can only use the preset Class Loadouts, and that their equivalent of a "Special Weapon" had to be picked up, and only has a limited amount of ammo. Where as in Call of Duty, if there is an overpowered weapon, everybody and their mother will be using it, almost guaranteed. And they will be using it, because they have the ability to customize their Loadouts, much like in Destiny. I'm not saying that Destiny is a bad game, I believe that it's a brilliant game, I'm just pointing out the fact that when you can customize your Class Loadout, and there is a Weapon or piece of Armor that is even slightly advantageous, everybody will use it, because they feel that to be the best, they need to use anything that will give them a slight advantage, rather than using their own skill in gameplay to win.
