Class Armor Needs Perks
The class armors need some reason to exist other that to look pretty.
Ideally they need to add some benefit, upgrade, perk that separates the classes a little more.
At the moment the classes are all excellently balances which is the result of good mechanics. (If you disagree, deal with it elsewhere).
My concern is that this makes them play exactly the same. Their only differences as far as gameplay is concerned are the abilities and even they are just the equivalent of their counterparts.
So, does anyone have suggestions as to what perks could be added to Class Armors to shake up the classes a little?

Yeah I think the class armor should open doors, or allow just them to enter specific areas, or maybe allow more than one exotic to be equipped. For starters

7 RepliesI agree. I think Class Armor should have a purpose. How many times have you seen a purple light fall from your foe, your heart beats like mad and you run as though the Devil rides your heels, just to get a Legendary Class Item Engram? Your chances seem to be just as likely to get a Legendary piece of useless gear, Legendary Jewelry, if you will, as you are to that Legendary Hand Cannon or Cuirass that you long for.... Is that fair? On the other hand Bungie.... Don't make me talk about how Borderlands has class items that are more effective.... *cough* Legendary Siren *cough*
