People crying about the engram update already lol!!

So people whined for a fix, now they whine about the fix. I absolutely love reading the threads in here! It's hilarious! I better take advantage of the changes until the cry-munity call for a nerf for the legendary engram changes lol. =========================================================== Edit: I think Bungie should make legendaries drop every time you kill something. Problem solved. Then people would whimper about having to many high level players. Maybe we can get an exotic each time we beat a strike and 50 strange coins for the Nightfall. I also think the Vault of Glass chests should all drop every single piece of raid gear when open the first one. Jus saying.. =)

  • Of course they are because it isn't a fix, Bungie simply shuffled the existing system to do the same thing. You still get just as many blues and it would appear that purples are actually harder to get. Don't get me wrong, that's basically what they should have done to begin, eliminated the chance on top of chance system, but the mistake they made is purely their own making. Rare stuff should be hard to get and then made slightly easier when new content is added, the new content becomes hard to get. Instead players were basically hand fed what little content the game had before having it ripped away. That's not our fault, it's theirs, they created the very problems and expectations people are now having issues with. Again, this isn't really a problem in terms of mechanics, but it was hidden away from people as they attempted to placate them. It's a rookie mistake to hide the true nature of a patch. There is no mention of Crytarch rewards being down scaled to blues to counter the influx of purples in the notes. This is actually expected, but why did they choose to avoid talking about these changes that slipped in quietly? Transparency would have resulted in angry people as usual but much less than we now have. Their own actions have yet again polarised the community. Boil down the issues in this game and one very consistent issue rears it's ugly head. What they say and what they do is constantly at odds.
