depends on what type of player you are, i got the sniper and doctor nope, but im saving up for the light beware or what ever the fusion rifle is

Thanks for all the replies people, but this thread is quite old now and since then I've maxed out the Shadow Price, had it nerfed, got the Vision of Confluence, maxed out quite a few weapons now lol Keep posting if you think it will help others and discuss your favourite weapons. I think I'll check out handcannons next

Dr Nope, IMO, is the worst legendary auto rifle in the game. Shadow Price is way better if you are looking for ARs. The Devil You Know is a monster fir hand cannon users. Those 2 are always in my loadout.
-
Dr. Nope is great for crowd control when you are getting swarmed but isn't much help with precision shooting. That's my only legendary right now so I can't comment on the others though

Just bought my first today myself: The Devil You Know

Shadow price

I received Doctor Nope from an engram I believe? I currently use Doctor Nope while I'm leveling my Pocket Infinity because as you probably know, you can only equip one exotic weapon at a time and I don't have another legendary primary. Well, I don't like it. Yes, it shoots incredibly fast... But aiming down the site is close to pointless for shooting enemies after a certain distance like you would with a scout rifle, you might as well try and hip fire them. I may not know all of the vanguard weapons... But I wouldn't choose to buy this weapon.

Or swarm

THERE IS NO QUESTION! The Devil You Know

I'm surprised that your going for the vanguard because the crucible quartermaster sells a scout rifle called the cryptic dragon

Edited by Friend_Within: 10/27/2014 3:59:51 AMThe Swarm, Shadow Price, Light/Beware or The Devil You Know. I have all four and none of them disappointed me.

the one that is A.1 what the hell ever it's called it's a badass scout rifle.

Edited by BugsInMySkin: 10/27/2014 3:38:58 AMdoctor nope is bad

BUY THE SWARM!

Edited by Prophet 12: 10/27/2014 3:43:51 AMDr. nope has a rather high time-to-kill. If you're thinking of getting an auto-rifle, Shadow Price has a lot more versatility and is generally more useful. If you consider yourself good at headshots, I'd recommend getting The Devil You Know. Heads will roll.

The only two weapons that I see being fun and useful are, doctor nope and the devil you know. I have two devils and one doctor nope. Let's just say, after getting doctor nope, my suros has been retired. Between the devil you know and doctor nope, you can't really say which is best. Both do different things. The devil gives 12 massive hits. I'm hitting 1200-1300 per shot with the devil. That's with it not maxed. Doctor nope on the other hand, it just melts enemies. People complain about the recoil, but I literally have zero issues with it. I don't even have to try and tame it.

The Swarm wrecks if you are possibly thinking about a heavy weapon.
-
There is a scout riffle that if you get precession kill with it it allows your enemies to explode which then would cuase damage to enemies surrounding them. So I would say go with that. I just don't know the name of the weapons but i know its a vanguard weapon at the tower and its a scour riffle, saw it last night.

Shadow Price. I'm not a huge fan of hihg RoF ARs, but I love ARs (Scout Rifles are nice when I'm going for the precision kill bounties). Although, a high RoF AR with a great deal of stability and a larger than 35 round mag would be nice, but the low impact makes kills things at range less desirable. My opinion, but a lot of people I play with prefer the Shadow Price.

Shadow Price, i have that beast maxed out, it never disappoints.

The devil you know!

The devil within is the beat weapon available
