Future War Cult Leveling Issues
I've recently leveled my Future War Cult reputation to 5 and 6 and was VERY disappointed with the rewards for leveling.
Now I'm not sure if it was intended or not, but I recieved one of the class marks that FWC sells BOTH TIMES as rewards for leveling up my rep. WHY WOULD I WANT THESE IF I CAN BUY ONE AND ALREADY MUST HAVE ONE TO LEVEL UP REP?
Needless to say I was very disappointed that a reward for so much work would be so useless.

1 ReplyWell I am rank 11 with FWC and they have been awful pretty much the whole time. Wonder if the other factions are as awful with their rewards

Totally agree, this happened to me with new monarchy. At the time I stated you shouldn't be rewarded with things that cost glimmer. Not sure if that changed now.

Yup - got to six with them, just been getting so-so materials every time after level 3. Did no one think that players would ever continue past level 3, so didn't really bother making any content for them? I'm not sure how many hours it takes to get from levels five to six, but no one could possibly have thought that what a player really wanted was an ascendant doodad for all that time invested. It really very strongly suggests that simply no one thought about it - it would work at launch, and by the time anyone played long enough they would already have sold a zillion copies. Can anyone else think of a game where ones 'guild' make such little difference to the game? The disappointment in there being no inner mysteries or life to FWC is sort of my Destiny experience in a nutshell.

Good Day! New Clan based around Future War Cult. We wear their emblem, class armor and weapons as much as possiable to show unity for the faction. You are no way bound to any weapon or armor. I just believe that the FWC holds the most appropriate philosophy in the game. I want my clan to have that style. DOW will march together in PVP or PVE. Anywhere. [quote] We Can We Wiil [/quote]

Edited by The Parson: 10/11/2014 6:21:34 AMI levelled up to Rank 3 to get the hand cannon (which was actually my reward for hitting Rank 3), now I've started over with New Monarchy to get the auto-rifle.

Once I hit rank 3 I'm just gonna switch to a better looking mark and not worry about it. Ranking up after 3 is no where near worth the time and effort, it's stupid.

Same here. Whoever was put in charge of these things has no clue what they're doing. I'm almost lvl 8 but I really don't care anymore. It doesn't have to be anything special, even an FWC skin for a gun would be better imo.

Same thing happened to me when I leveled up my vanguard. I got a stupid class item.
