So all the DLC has been confirmed as being on the damn disc

This is unreal. Making us wait until the end of the year and next year, chopping out parts of the game that are clearly already done and just locked behind invisible walls and BS like that. This is Capcom and the SFxT debacle all over again, just they've hidden it fairly well. From the looks of everything on these maps, THIS would have been a full, complete game. This is incredibly despicable Bungie. Especially since you are claiming that the DLC are so called "expansions", what a load of BS.

  • I should have known. I didn't want to believe it, I wanted to give these guys the benefit of the doubt, but today I see it. Missions, perhaps crucial story elements ripped out of the game at launch to be sold in little dlc bites, or bytes if you prefer. This is why I get no exposition. This is why I get a character to play that exudes as much life and interest as a cardboard box. Sadly the box can't be as interesting as the one in Phantom Pain. This is why I get, '' You have been dead a long time. There is a lot you will not understand.'' '' Ummm...Ok...No worries, dude where's my gun?'' Derp. Or.. '' I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain.'' That's code for the transaction has not been completed yet. This is low, even by gaming company standards. To sell a game like this at full price, to sell these gigantic bundles and editions with freaking main content cut out, hundreds and hundreds of dollars...smh Pathetic. And yet these simpletons will still continue to defend it. Even though the [ Cough ] expansions are nothing more then single player story missions played on the same freaking maps that should already have been there. Even though it's obvious so many pieces of story, and cut scenes were ripped out a three year old could spot the holes in the narrative, even though the very thing this game banks on to keep you playing, grinding loot etc. fails miserably. I learned my lesson. Never again. I am just thankful I didn't blow another forty dollars or whatever absurd amount of money they wanted on the season pass, Oh I mean the actual game. Absolutely disgusting. If anyone can't really see what's going on here shame on you, and shame on Bungie/ Activision. I can see the statement already, '' This was a creative decision, not a monetary one. We wanted to maintain and hold the interest of the consumer and Destiny fans with replayability through our vision of telling a long well thought out and interesting story.'' Bullcrap. This is Activisions way of insuring a return on their investment. They either made, enticed, or were on the same page in cutting this game up and selling it in pieces. But it is clear from playing the campaign at launch, and hearing this news now, clear to anyone with half a brain, that this game was edited for the purpose of microtransactions and paid dlc. You want to use the subscription argument go ahead. Problem with that is everyone knows the deal. Everyone knows what time it is, everyone knows up front what they are paying for. This is shady. At the very least the game, and these bundles should have been sold at half the price with the disclaimer of Bungies intentions put up front beforehand. This is how we want to release the game, this is what you have to do later on to bring out it's full story and gameplay potential. They didn't do that, they hid it. But it will not matter because the gaming community has sold out, and will continue to sell out as long as they keep letting these people get away with using slight of hand and word games to justify overpricing of multimedia games and accessories.
