Feedback PVE PVP

Hey guys, yesterday i wrote the next few lines, as I was looking through the forum. I found this Thread [url]http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/70918429/0/0/1[/url]. The starter edited meanwhile his first post, but he said, that it was unfair against bungie to give Destiny a zero (thats why I have a judging in the end) and he said, constructive and organized feedback would be appreciated. So i wrote this little text and some guys said, I should bring it to the feedback section. So here it is. [b][u]Multiplayer[/u][/b] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ We all saw us against way better and way worse enemies. [b]Gear[/b] ................................................................................................................................ In my opinion a second set of gear, special for the crucible and just for there, would be nice. This equip can not be upgraded, it is already at the best level. Everyone had the same Autorifle / Handcannon / Armor Piece etc and you can just change rounds and optical attachement. [b]Levelsystem / Matchmaking[/b] ................................................................................................................................ Especially in Crucible should be an stand alone experience progress work. -> Poeple with 29 who just go through PVE get matched with 26-30 players who just play PVP. Hardly fair in any way. Maybe an Trueskillsystem like Halo 3 had would be nice. [b]Costum Lobbies[/b] ................................................................................................................................ Many players want costum lobbies to play private matches with there friends. We don't ask for a forge or something. Just private matches with custom rules like kills to win or something like that. [b]Stable Connections / Netcode[/b] ................................................................................................................................ It is painful to see, you can't kill an enemy because he lags or the server don't receive your shots fast enough. Sometimes Killscores apply to the screen minutes after you killed that guy. You get killed while you already was around a corner. In an next gen Game, this shouldn't happen and especially not a experienced team like bungie who brought us games like Reach. [b][u]Singleplayer / Coop[/u][/b] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Become really Legend! [b]Questdesign[/b] ................................................................................................................................ Ok Shooter hadn't always the most innovative styles of Questdesign, but the whole Campaign is even in this genre not even close to his ancients or the normal concurrents. There aren't any Genrestandarts like a sniper / stealth mission, vehiclemissions or something like that. Not even a turret sequenz is in it. It would be so nice if you had to infiltrate a Cabalfortress to steal some secret plans or something. Or to hijack a carrier to rescue some friends (Truth and Reconciliation style) It is bitter reality that the quests in 90% of the Missions (Strikes including) are just: Run to place A Set Up Dinkelbot. Defend against 3 Waves run to Place B Kill the Boss Wait for the timer to reach 0 [b]Missionenvironment[/b] ................................................................................................................................ Every Mission, even the strikes, play 90% of the time in the normal patrolenvironment. This means, we explore the the patrollocations through the story. So all exploration in the world finds place in the Campaign. I found really few places i don't saw in the campaign as i walked through the open areas. Would the Missions had some special areas, which you just can explore while you have this missions, the patrolmissions would be do much more fun and I had a reason to explore this world. [b]The Story[/b] ................................................................................................................................ We all saw the Trailers, saw pieces of the story, we don't even get mentioned in the final game. The whole story was more like an bad introduction to the several enemies in the world. We have NPC's who could explain us some of the things of this world. They could, but they don't (Speaker I look at you) If you had to give us a game with so much missions as content, why you just give us Earth and Moon with each 2 major locations and make an epic story about fighting against the Fallen and the Hive? Later in other DLC you could introduce the Vex and Cabal with there own storyline. This wouldn't hurt anybody in my opinion and had give you the time, to to give us a picture about this races. After playing this game so much long, I haven't any clue whats the motivation of each of the parties is. Where did they come from? Whats there inner social structure (Fallen have several Houses, but what are those Houses? Are they like kingdoms? Or is there a big ruler behind all of this?) This is explained in a few words at the grimoire cards. A thing you unlock in the game and can't enter through the game! Why can't the game explain me, whats an Vex or an Fallen is? We just get the information: It's evil, shoot it. Sad. The worst is, we are from the begin to the end strangers to this world. And the fact, that this story hasn't any dramaturgic approach. It just stopped at the exposition. Your not entirely through, You stuck somewhere between it. [b]Serverconnection[/b] ................................................................................................................................ We are in week 3 after release. I still don't trust the connection. Have still connection losses. This kicks me from nightfallstrikes in the same frequenzy as in patrolmissions or daily heroic missions. [b]Matchmaking[/b] ................................................................................................................................ Nightfall / Heroic / Raid has still no Matchmaking. Ok I'am full with you with the raid, but nightfall and heroic should be with MM. I don't want to spam my friendlist everytime again to search 2 other guys who have time to a specific date to play this with me (again, I don't play this solo cause of the shitty connection). [b][u]Judging[/u][/b] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ In his current state i give this game a 56/100 Multiplayer 4/10 Story 2/10 Gameplay 8/10 Graphic 8/10 Sound 8/10 I don't go in actual gameplay, sound and graphic. Just so much. There are enough places to glitch under the map / farm mobs (lootcave). Also there are moments, the music outruns the actual game: And sometimes you find some low rez textures / textures which didn't load fast. So here you have my opinion about the game. not a zero, but not even a game worth to be called a blockbuster.   • To be honest, i enjoy getting home afterwork and play destiny a few hours a day, but the game needs a second wind with more variety on mission and game modes like you said (and please do the matchmaking option on raids), the "history" problem i think it can be fix on future content or maybe unlocking zones every month or weeks could be interesting. Great feedback btw :)
