FREE DLC
Come on now... with the leaked content bug and the obvious short comings with the release what your PR department should be doing right now is.. Coming on these forums and issuing an apology letter starting off by telling every single one of us that the DLC in December called " The Dark Below " will be 100 % FREE to everyone.
Those that paid for the Ltd Editions and Digital Guardian Editions and the Ghost Editions would not be charged for this content out of their season pass.
I paid 89.99 for the digital version and seriously feel cheated in every way.
Your company may not be the 1st to hide content already on the retail disk , Gears of War , Saints Row IV , Dead Space 3 , ect. ect. I could name a bunch more. The point is.. your game DESTINY was sent to retail with only 2 planets more to explore than your BETA. TWO MORE and level capped us at 20. BETA let us go to level 8.
All that talk about porting our level , gear and items from BETA to Retail .. I can see why Bungie decided not to allow it.
A quarter of the game would have been finished the very minute the game launched.
Bungie / Activision there is only one way to to right this wrong and that's to apologize and offer the 1st round of DLC to everyone for FREE.
Hell it's not really Free if you think about it. We all paid for a full game and didn't get one.

3 RepliesBoth Alpha and the Beta versions that I tested had the lvl 8 cap. None of my stored stuff carried over, which I can understand why. It doesn't matter now anyways after the full launch. It just really blows. All the time I spent testing gone to waist acquiring all that gear and nothing to show for it besides 2 meaningless emblems that everyone can obtain after inputting the unlock codes on their website. Sigh.. 3 days of hardly any sleep gone to waist. At least it taught me not to go crazy, waisting valuable time with future Beta tests. Currently waiting on the Doom Beta. Very curious how that is going to turn out.

1 ReplyI have been behind this game from day 1 but....this dlc stuff has changed my mind,there is no point doing a lvl 10 mission when your lvl 28.What you get with the original disk is 1/3 of a game.Its greed and wrong

4 RepliesYour forgetting that bungie owes Activision a lot of money do Activision is calling the shots I mean look at halo they made those games and they were the best story wise and multiplayer look at it the game has a lot of call of duty style gameplay which limits what you can do dramatically so really getting mad at bungie is pointless when activison is the one who supports the game and makes all the decisions
