It sounds like you've hit a crossroad in your life. Its one that I believe anyway every Christian faces and its tough. Your mind is telling you that what you've learned cannot be true. The problem though is that despite all that you have learned, you still know very little in the grand scheme of things. As you continue on your journey in life you will see many things. Some will be based in science that if you look hard enough will actually support your Christian beliefs and some things you just simply won't be able to explain any other way but through divine intervention. What I can tell you is that each and every time that science has attempted to disprove Christianity it has only proven it correct or at the very least plausible. I'll offer you just a few tid bits from science which may help you find your faith again. 1. The bible speaks of snakes walking upright in the garden of eden. Did you know that science has long since proven that at one time snakes did in fact have legs? 2. Scientists for ages believed that the city of Jericho was a made up story and in fact that the city itself never actually existed. However, just a few years ago, they found a city in the area where Jericho was supposed to exist that matched its description flawlessly and the walls had fallen outward just as described in the bible. 3. There is a fossilized boat up in the mountains where Noahs ark was supposed to have come to rest that fits the size description of the ark. No water anywhere near this location. Granted this site has been commercialized and some non-reputable people have exploited it. However, that boat didn't just fossilize itself and who builds a boat on top of a mountain? Just a side note, every major culture in the world has a great flood myth. 4. I've been reading some leading edge science which has hypothesized that life came from the dirt basically and reactions within from the big bang. This sounds like a big win for science over faith. Afterall, life came from dirt and didn't need a higher power to make things happen right? The only thing is those backward, ignorant people a few thousand years ago wrote in the Bible that God formed man out of dirt. How did they know what today's brightest minds are just now trying to prove? Lucky guess maybe? None of these things are going to prove your faith. But they do give you some things to think about as you question what is and isn't real. Good luck to you. I know that this is a hard time and I wish you well as you journey through it.

Even if god was real, he wouldn't send you to hell for not believing in him so long as you live a good moral life.

Separate religion from spirituality and I think you'll be much happier. You can believe in god without believing in any religion.

If i am not miss taken , just don't denounce the holy spirit or for sure you will go to hell. So, if you pus out on your death bed , be like " Jesus, I believe in you! You are the messiah, god and the holy spirit all in one!" Jesus! I love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu moooooooooo! Lol, i am an athiest so I don't believe in that stuff.

There is no consolation in hell. Only suffering. You will never see anyone you ever knew that could possibly give you consolation there.

Christian or catholic? There is a difference.
