So let me get this straight.
I don't have many friends on Xbox, I work through the week, and I just wanna jump on the weekend and play the best content in the game straight away through a matchmaking system. I put in the time into the game, I'm level 29.
But I can't because there's no matchmaking.
Instead of you implementing raid matchmaking, I have to go around and message and find and invite 5 random people I've never met into a fireteam, somehow explain to them I wanna raid, even though the messaging on Xbox One is retarded, and then pray that I meet 5 people that have 2-3 hours of spare time, that they are geared enough, that they have enough competency at the game, have a mic and god help me if someone has to leave halfway through.
That could seriously take me days to organise 5 random people I've never met to get on at a certain time and raid.
It makes no sense.
Yet instead, I could jump into a matchmade raid, and meet 5 others who right then an there have declared, by entering the matchmaking, they have a spare 2-3 hours, wanna raid, are geared and have mics.
I've put in the time, I've grinded your strikes and I'm finally geared enough to raid and I can't.
Please bring in raid matchmaking, please.
tl;dr
Just implement it. Read the second paragraph for reasons why.

I got the same problem as you. I think there should be matcmaking for everything in the game or it gets boring after a couple of weeks. Even the Princess thing now i wont be able to do. I love the game i just want to be able to do more or eventuly i think a lot of casuel players will quit the game.

People are complaining about the grind, and I haven't because I thought the reward would be a raid, but there is no reward unless your some super dedicated gamer who has enough spare time to organise stuff like this.

I wonder if it's possible to make some kind of match board outside the game. Not ideal, but maybe something a clan could make
