I have a 27 hunter, 22 warlock and 17 titan. Over time I've come to notice that almost every perk in a column down a skill tree has a trade-off and it fun to try them all in different situations. However my feedback is that the gunslinger has a few perks that make the decision to shy away from them very easy. Those perks are: Deadeye: increases accuracy of golden gun Circle of Life: kills with throwing knife while golden gun is active increases the duration of golden gun Over the Horizon: increases range of golden gun I believe these perks should be tweaked/modified/or changed because they seem to be so much worse than their alternatives. Accuracy - Golden gun already seems perfectly accurate to the point where you point at something shoot and its gone, maybe replace this with a perk thats allows golden gun to crit so that it rewards precision shots and does more damage than a sniper to a boss. Duration - Increasing the duration of golden gun seems useless to me since it can only be fired 3 times anyway. Your not likely going kill a player in the crucible with your throwing knife while its active and thats about the only situation I can think of where extending the duration would be useful. Maybe a throwing knife kill would grant you an extra shot or reduce the cool-down of golden gun. Range - There is no stat list for golden gun so I don't know what the inherent range is and how much boosting it will help but I always assumed it had an inherently long range so this skill seems like a wasted spot. Just give golden gun great range and make a perk that can compete with and extra throwing knife or faster reloads.
