Titan Tank in PvP
So I've been curious; how useful is the Titan Tank Class in PvP? Its probably pretty useless in FFA, but I feel like it could be useful in Control. I've seen it go both ways personally; totally screwing teams, and totally being useless or screwing the user.

Defender Titans are good they can hold down there own amazingly but up afainst another titan player that knows how to shoulder charge and melee up close dancing around that defender they will loose

Basically a professional Titan [i]DEFENDER[i] can spawn trap your hole team a noob defender gets killed in their shield so they go to the striker and kill 1-2 a special

Defender Titan can be king of capture points if specced right. Just remember to have Armor of Light active instead of Weapons or Blessing. It seems smart at first giving buffs to your teammates, but that extra damage resist while in the bubble helps you and them in the long run, a dead Titan means no shield. I've been spanked by Bladedancers in my bubble pretty easily when I was using Blessing or Weapon perks, but with Armor active I melee them down from full health and barely get scratched.

The defender subclass definitely shines in control. I usually use striker because I cannot pvp without shoulder charge but it was fun. Get shotgun, throw up bubble, stand on flag and rinse and repeat

You can do well in both sub classes in all modes. Lotta different combos and ways to play. Experiment and find your niche,(whats most fun) and you'll be fine.

1 ReplyI personally think titan smash is better in PvP just because there are more situations when it would be useful, but defender has some nice perks in their skill trees.
