Bungie: Help us help you help us

Bungie. There's a forum full of people experiencing errors that they have no business experiencing. Centipede on home connections and caterpillar, baboon and elk with unthinkable frequency. The assertion is that there is "something" wrong on our ends, with no suggestion as to what. If that's the case, then give us the knowledge and tools to find out. What do we need to do to open a dialogue on this? You dropped into some of the high rated topics in #help and offered some people direct assistance, but in internet terms that's ancient history. Please, Bungie: Help us help you help us.

  • BUNGIE, we are tired of your excuses. You invested 500+ million dollars into a game we invested because we believed in your service to the customer and delivering a great game... Why can't we play? Where's your customer service? This issue is on your end. You got your money and way more back, please use it to fix your game and allow the thousands of us who can't play, finally able to enjoy your game. Just don't sweep this issue under the rug, because you will piss off the wrong people and you will lose it all :(

  • For 6 days I've been getting the cattle error at log in, Bungie help us

  • I can play other online games as well with no issue what so ever. BF4, ff14 for example. With Destiny I got disconnected every 10 minutes with a centipede, fly and bee error code. I ended up returning my game and I don't plan to come back until I hear about server improvement. I played since the 10th and after about 2 weeks I don't have the patience to keep trying. I just reach lvl 20 in that time and that is horrible with the amount of time I put in. I had to request friends on the fireteam just to continue the mission. Getting booted 5 + time a match is very annoying. Glad I am not the only one as their is nothing wrong with my network and I should not have to go through great lengths in order to play this game.

    • I have had the cattle error for 2 days now continuously, that's unacceptable. Please help bungie.

    • Constant errors for me also... I can play in the middle of the night midnight til about 8 AM. Otherwise it is error after error benn booted 4-5 times in a single crucible before and rejoining just to find out its too late the next time to join for my rewards. I have gotten bee errors flying into the tower and many more at the tower. Tried everything i could on all the help topics. Anything on whAt to fix if its my problem would be great, like what to ask my ISP to do... They say it's not their fault so i would need something pretty specific..

      • I've gotten a handful intermittantly. I'm willing to set up logging and provide data to bungie next time I get errors, I just need info on where to submit it. I'm not dumping my router logs where the public can get at them :)

      • In my case and many others here in the south, it is apparently our ISP. Bungie has said that they are contacting them DIRECTLY to try and work things out. If true, it could be a while, but just because that sort of thing does. Funny thing is though, I personally didnt have any problems until after the attack on BUNGIE. SO now why is there a problem with MY ISP? Funny dont ya think?!

      • I personally have not experienced these issues but have had friends that did. It could very well be on your end but not necessarily your hardware or settings specifically. Many MMO's and other online games have had issues that companies had to work out with ISP's to solve. It could very well be on Bungie's end or the ISP's end or the combination of the two. I am sure they are working on it as people not being able to results in lost future revenue if people know there are existing issues.
