As many of you know the current limit to exotic items is 1 armor piece and 1 weapon. I don't think this is fair and heres why. it makes buying future exotic pieces pointless once you have one, and it makes buying exotic engrams pointless to. They need to make a way to increase the maximum exotic pieces equipped at one time, otherwise buying more than one is pointless! Some ways I thought of were if they increase the level cap to 35 for example starting at 20 you can equip 1 piece, at 25 you can equip 2, at 30 you can equip 3, and at 35 4 and so on. And to make it more difficult to get past thirty armor could require another component such as idk heavenly light instead of just light to keep going higher! just a thought and if your reading this bungie please implement this! (and raise that level cap in the dlc!) If you like these ideas like and vote them up so bungie sees them!

Oh god ples no. This would make the game horrible...did you even consider the iron banner? Along with the fact that its not pointless to have multiple exotics, i have 2 and i use them in certain situations. For example, i use Bad JuJu in free roam/farming, and i use Gjalahorn in PvP or on hard bosses

  • The only reason you are bound to one is because of PvP balancing, don't let bungie try to tell you otherwise, it wouldn't be game braking for raids or strikes

    • I don't, I find exotics even harder to find than Legendaries. I've just got my first Exotic bounty today and am working through it. If I had to grind for a full set of exotics as well it would take about six years. Grinding for legendaries is currently bad enough. The point is to get whatever exotic piece you can and then when you find another you compare with the one you have and you choose which you want based on the effects it has. If you are a hardcore Sniper then adding more Sniper Ammo or reload speed might be more important to you than Pulse Rifle Ammo or whatever.

      • Honestly, I was a little disappointed to find out they sell exotic gear. Turns out, it's not so exotic anymore. Now aside from that, equipping more than one exotic/category is way to OP. One of these days I'll post a video of my pocket infinity & arc grenade in action for people to see what im talking about. Now does that mean I'm not interested in other exotic gear? Actually I am very interested, I'm not going to want to run the same build or same bonuses from gear forever, that would get very boring. In fact, once my pocket infinity is fully upgraded I will probably only use it when I raid. I will be switch to thorn and a legendary sniper I picked up and rocking those until I eventually find myself the last word at which point I may not want anymore exotic weapons, but that doesn't mean I will stop looking for exotic gear. Eventually I will have 3 classes built up, and I will want gear for PvP, gear for pve, and gear to change around what does what. I understand why people want to equip more exotics, but trust me, once you have two that are upgraded enough to give you their benefits, you will see why it is too OP.
