I'm not going to say blade dancer is OP, but it most certainly SHOULD NOT kill a Titan inside his own bubble shield. That is just stupid.
Anyone dumb enough to willingly enter an enemy's bubble deserves to die, not to be rewarded. and one class's Super should NOT completely negate another's.
Bladedancers should not be able to OHKO a Titan is his bubble. That's a huge balance flaw. It makes the Defender's super useless if an enemy can just walk in and kill them.
-
I don't think Bladedancer Ohkos in bubble. I'm pretty sure shotgun Ohkos Bladedancer though. If it does Ohko, I'm surprised, and that should be changed, but supers do negate other supers. Golden gun doesn't one shot fist of havoc. It does one shot Bladedancer, as does nova bomb and I think foh.
-
and one class's Super should NOT completely negate another's.
Well Nova Bomb, FoH and Golden Gun all negate blade dancer
-
The counter for supers are supers.
-
Defender is useless in its current state. Quite a few changes are needed.

Can your bubble shoot me? No, you have to step outside it to try and kill us, it would be stupid to let you step out and kill us, but us not step in and kill you.. Your logic is irrelevant..

If one super shouldn't be able to negate another what gives your bubble the right to negate my arc blade?
-
Actually its perfectly fine that way since it is the only way to kill a Titan in their bubble, that's the point, it's the Epitome of Rock Paper Scissors in effect

Edited by Shadow15151: 9/22/2014 6:06:50 AMthe specials nearly cancel eachother out. sure the bladedancer can win if its 1v1, but if the titan has a team near him like all team oriented pvp games should be working then the bladedancer loses. and even if its just 1v1 the bladedancer will use nearly his/her entire special to kill only one enemy. although i gotta say yout last sentence is total BS you just made up on the spot, bladedancer takes 4-5 hits to kill a titan in a bubble shield special. its not a OHKO unless the titan was already pretty f'd up from a previous fight. and even then you cant call killing a damaged enemy a OHKO
-
and one class's Super should NOT completely negate anothers
Literally every other super that isn't defensive beats blade dancer, hell you panic super with fists of havoc and you're literally guaranteed to live and possibly get a kill or more. And it takes like 4 stabs to kill a turtle titan. Stupid turtle titans.
-
So youre saying that we shouldnt be able to OHKO you in your bubble, yet we should be able to be OHKO for entering your bubble? So what youre telling me is that I shouldnt be able to have a chance in your bubble while using my super and I should just get hit in the face once and be done, lose my super, and QQ in the corner? Sounds legit.

It makes the Defender's super useless if an enemy can just walk in and kill them.
Last time i killed a titan defender in his bubble i had to hit him 4 times (3 hits in the back and the 4th in his side, he was busy with someone else). Also the only reason i think the bladedancer can be considered OP is because: the terrible hit registration in this game. A blade dancer moves faster and because of the bad hit registration it seems as if it can take more hits while it can't. But the servers are just to slow to shot the real position of the bladedancer. Therefore you will either miss shots or dont get headshots etc.

Defender negates all others supers. Just saying.
-
I haven't ran into this yet as but have been ohko from a striker and warlock when they used their specials in the bubble. If at full health and armor the specials should only bring the titan close to death at least that's my opinion doubt it will change and will still have fun. Just got to hope they don't have a super when they enter my bubble.
-
Why don't you try using a class that fits your play style a little more? ...next we'll have people complaining that they couldn't hit a sniper across the map with their blade dancer and they'll be saying that it needs more range.
-
everything is stronger then defender i play as a Titan and the shit needs a buff the fact that they can run in and super you in YOUR own super is bullshit and makes it useless
-
Really? The defenders are the name of my blade dancers existence :( I never am able to kill them inside that stupid bubble >:(
-
I did this earlier, it took 3 hits. The poor titan didn't think I was stupid enough to enter. I was stupid enough to get a triple kill. :D
-
If you use the damage reduction perk while inside your bubble you should win
-
The bubble is meant to protect from ranged attacks. Grenades and bullets bounce of the shield. Melee is the only option left, of course a melee super can kill a defender in its shield.
-
Last I checked a blade dancer takes around 3 hits to kill a titan in the bubble, in that time you can easily hit them with your punch and a shotgun and they should die. You practically get a double hp bar and increased damage if you spec that way
-
I'm a Dancer and I laugh at Titans that think they are safe in their silly bubble ;) It is 3 hits to kill a defender Titan btw.
-
Yea I would love to play my defender in pvp but it's useless super it literally makes me not want to pvp at all I like striker but not as much as defender and it's forcing me in a way to only go striker for pvp since I find no use for the defender super in pvp
-
and one class's Super should NOT completely negate another classes super
What do do you call bubble shield? It negates golden gun, nova bomb, and i believe other titans havok skill.
-
I for one think the bubble is quite valuable in certain situations. While it is not a panic super such as the other titan sublass or the warlock's purple bomb of desemation, it is a great tactical power. I can use this power (most of the times anways) to completely cap a flag and dust off most enemies coming towards me. The trick to to MELEE. If you are trying to use guns inside this thing you are stupid, melee an enemy when they are close. You can jump at them while in your shield and if they come in they are close to dead. However I do think that counter play is a bit -blam!-ed up. If you are in this bubble shield you are guaranteed to die by a Bladedancer. Their damage resitance makes it basically impossible to kill them and even with the health bonus you have there is no way you can keep up with them dashing around you constatnly. As for the other titan subclass I think it is BS to be able to activate the power outside of the shield and fly into it and still activate the smash. I believe that player should bounce off of it and land on the outside. Now if they were inside the bubble however they would bounce around inside and be guaranteed a kill. Also for the hunter's golden gun I feel that power is fairly balanced when facing up against this. I for one have faced a golden gunner with my shield at full health. It took 2 shots for them to destroy my shield and their 3rd killed me. That is fairly balanced IMO. La stly the sunsiger's (warlock 2nd subclass) expierences may vary depending on their own skil and how they utulize their super. Also I feel like the warlock's nova bomb subclass is also fairly balanced. Unless you are in the bubble your strike will only affect the outside. Well there you have it. My views on bubble shield vs. supers and other such.

Every class has a counter
-
and one class's Super should NOT completely negate another
You're playing as a Titan and you're bitching about that? -blam!- you, noob.
