Suggested loot table change

I believe a positive change could fix many complaints with the current Legendary and Exotic Engrams system while maintaining a rarity of high powered gear across levels. Please respond with a "Yes Please" if you think this would be a positive change that would eliminate your complaints with the loot system. Feel free to politely offer criticisms of any flaws you see. 1. Bungie should remove all weapons and armor below Rare rank from the possible loot selection for Legendary and Exotic Engrams. This should include Marks, Bonds, and Cloaks. It should not include Sparrows or Ships, or any other similar non-gear items with an exceptionally low drop rate. 2. Bungie should dramatically reduce the chances of getting Rare weapons or armor from Legendary drops. Rare gear should be no more common than getting an Uncommon is now. Players are already awarded a steady stream of Rare gear during upper level game content, and receive many green engrams over the course of play at all game levels. 3. Bungie should increase the chance of getting Strange Coins, Motes of Light, Rare or Uncommon Ships and Sparrows, and other miscellaneous gear that could be enjoyed by every player or be used to eventually collect Legendary items from vendors. It should increase so that it completely fills in the absence of the large pool of potential rare equipment drops in place at the time of this post, which is estimated to be around 2/3rds of the current Legendary loot table. The goal is to make every legendary and exotic engram feel like a reward even for lower level drops and decryptions. When you get the actual item it should be a major reward. Note that I believe that every piece of Legendary or Exotic gear is a legitimate find regardless of class specifications, and I am against the idea of reformatting the loot system to award only class gear. Such gear should function as an incentive to play additional classes, which will keep the game fresh for many players.

  • Bungie doesn't care about its community. They only case about statistics like the money they're making and how many play their game. Instead of fixing server disconnects they're having players teach other players how to fix the problem so they don't have to and then they're recording and displaying total hours logged by players. They don't care what's wrong with their game or about US that's the bottom line.

    • 1.not completely remove but incredibly reduce. 2. Yes 3. If you get better vehicles and ships then theres no points to the vendors.
