Mounted Sparrow Combat?
First and foremost weaponry, it's probably been covered a lot but things like mounted guns, I don't think are necessary.
(We do already have pikes) instead, how about the ability to draw your weapon on the go? Switching weapons with a tap of a button while boosting past enemies.
More diverse appearance options would also be a welcome addition, or set events like sparrow races to add spice to the larger areas of the game.
Feel free to add ideas people, let's hope Bungie adds some of them! (Hand cannon headshots from your sparrow though -.-)

All my yes to sparrow melee attacks, also just had a thought about more diverse sparrow designs, not just a small change to the skin of the sparrow but a complete overhaul with new and different designs. All the sparrows are the same with differences to colour and abilities, what about a chopper like sparrow? With a different ride position similar to the terminator, you know the bikes I mean :P

I think mounted weapons would ruin pvp , but if we could melee, such as kick people as we fly past that would be fun, and would take skill to execute.

I think a greater variety of sparrow would be awesome. Wider, thicker, beefier sparrow that can take a lot of punishment? Lightning quick drag racer sparrow that explodes when hit? Air gliders to add a new level to old maps? The game "Rage" did awesome with vehicles. If Bungie added vehicular combat to Destiny, that would shake the pillars of gaming. Also; HOVERBOARDS!
