It was kind of cool at first, and then I quickly realized its a massive waste of time and pretty darn boring. The drop rate isn't that good and you'd be better off farming other locations for resources and patrol missions to up your faction/Vanguard rep and turn in resources for marks. Everyone complaining about RNG and not getting legendary engrams to work could already have 3-4 pieces of Vanguard Legendary gear if they would focus on it for a bit instead of complaining about the drop rate on engrams and the Cryptarch.
