Pulse Rifle Issue's

My pulse rifle has the 'passive' where it can be used as fully automatic. It does work with this 'passive' however it frequently stops firing randomly, I then have to release the trigger and press down again. In PvE it's not the end of the world but for PvP it's life or death. I thought i'd give the pulse rifle a go but if this problem persists it's really a bit of a let down! Would appreciate it if you could look into this. P.S. I ensured I was fully pressing the trigger at all times. Thank you

  • Depending on the system and what controller you're using there's an easy fix. PS3/PS4 ; don't press the button all the way in, only press it until you feel the pad go down. Xbox(360-1); kind of the same as the Playstations, the only difference is the travel of the button on its axis before it hits the pad. The buttons are sensitive you just need to figure out where the point is where the button itself hits the pad so you don't have issue. The pulse rifles that have that option aren't really good for PvP since everyone uses the fastest firing assault rifles they can, putting more rounds down range is key to winning. If you want to use a Pulse Rifles in PvP, play like it's Halo with the B.R. and bounce around allot while getting head shots. Since the competitive multiplayer(and the entire game) is like Halo a little more skill is required if you plan to fend off a bunch of bads spraying down a hallway. Don't get close and make sure to keep moving.
