Exotic weapon isn't worth it
I got an exotic weapon bounty on Sunday. It said kill Phogoth on the moon. Easy enough I guess being level 24. I finished it and then it said kill 500 hive and take their essence. Still relatively easy to do but mind numbing to farm that many. But I did it. Now it says kill 500 players using void damage and that being killed will reset the counter. Its for a hand cannon and I am seriously considering getting rid of the challenge. For all the work they want me to do and have done for a hand cannon its not worth the trouble. I don't even know what else I may have to do for this thing. At least take off the death modifier and leave it at the void damage part. That is more then enough work since the only weapons that use void damage are special and heavy weapons.

1 ReplyIt's surprisingly easy. Get a fusion rifle with void damage. Each kill counts as 4 Pts and when you die it's -2. It took me about 3 hrs to do it overall

3 RepliesEdited by CovetousCash64: 9/17/2014 10:31:29 AMYou are on the bounty trail that leads to Thorn. THE Thorn; probably the most iconic weapon in Destiny. It's a hand cannon. If you don't want to use hand cannons on any of your characters, then it's not worth pursuing but if you do then it's pretty much the pinnacle. The step you are on requires you to accrue 500 points by killing guardians with void damage. Each kill you get is worth +5. Each time you die is worth -2. As long as you can keep your kill/death ratio above 0.40, you'll get there eventually.

2 RepliesI can't even imagine how bad ass you'd have to be to kill 500 guardians without dying in crucible... Maybe get into a rumble match with everyone being in your clan and they just agree to mindlessly run at you?
