Am I crazy? Red Death no longer healing?

So, yesterday while i was doing the Raid, I couldn't help but notice that Red Death wasn't working. The effect is: "Each kill heals you and speeds up reload". The sped-up reload occurs, but I never get any heal.

Red Death healing effects are off in the raid because of modifiers set on the raid.
