Disconnection Error Metrics

Since Bungie and Activision have been pretty quiet about the whole issue, thought we players could try to be a bit pre-emptive with the troubleshooting. Post your stats and maybe we can find some trends. This whole post will probably be redundant and useless since I'm sure Bungie is already tracking most of these metrics with each error that occurs, but I'm getting tired of waiting for their non-existent communications. I mean really...you release a patch with no patch notes? And is Tweeting really the only way to communicate with your customer support team? We expect errors to happen at release. It's only been the first week. Personally, I'm ok with that. However, the lack of communication is absurdly unprofessional for a company that's been around 20+ years. I'm sure you're working on it, but simple posts to the website like "We're aware that the Centipede error is not isolated to college/universities..." would do a lot to help appease the masses. I mean come on... the Facebook page of my local deli store does a better job communicating. Anyways... I'm thinking the below information would help summarize the issues we're seeing without getting too complicated. The polling system is pretty limited in this forum, so just leaving this as free text for now. [b]Errors (Which errors are you seeing?): [/b]Centipede, Baboon, Bee (90% Centipede, but will occasionally get the other two) [b]Frequency of Error (On average, how often are you getting disconnected): [/b]Anywhere from 1 per 15 minutes to 1 per 60 minutes. Skewed more towards the 1 per 15 minutes.     error: -Centipede frequency: -every time i try to log on. (haven't been able to play yet) ISP: - Sprint college/university: No console: Xbox One edition: standard location: Indiana Nat open, hardwired, opened all ports, even took down firewall, nothing... day 6, of not being able to play at all. Every other game still works just fine. you guys think this may be a latency issue?

      Errors : Mostly Bee but also Hare, Vulture, Lion, got Centipede once Frequency of Error : Usually somewhere between 5-20mins of starting any game mode. ISP : BT Broadband College/University : N/A Console : XBox One Edition : Xbox One Standard (Disc) Location : UK, Lincolnshire

    • Error: 90% Bee, Fly, Centipede and a lot of other animals Frequency: 1 to 20 minutes ISP: Unity Media (150mbit cable) College: No playing @home Console: Xbox One Edition: Digital Pre Order Location: Germany, Cologne Hardwired, static IP, Ports opened, NAT open, no problems with any other games.

    • Errors: Centipede, baboon, elk, kingfisher, vulture, bee, cacao, caterpillar, canary Frequency: about every minute. Most of the time I can't even get in the game world at all. ISP: WOW. (Formerly Knology) College/University: Nope. Playing from home. Console: Xbox One Edition: Digital Guardian Edition Location: Madison, AL No idea why I'm getting some of these errors. The descriptions don't make sense. My NAT type is open, hardwired connection, I've opened all the ports that were recommended... still a no go. But the Beta was fine. Go figure.

[b]ISP :[/b] HGC(HK) Optical fiber 100m [b]College/University :[/b] N/A [b]Console :[/b] PS4 [b]Edition :[/b] PS4 Digital Guardian Edition [b]Location :[/b] Hong Kong [b]Connection :[/b] NAT open (Type1), directly wired to modem, Static IP, Good connection with all other online games. Basiclly can't finish any Strikes/Crucible without disconnection(Only done two stirkes and one Crucible in four days). The only mission I can play are patrol missions which still having error every hour.
