Well recently viewing the forums and seeing aloooooot of hate.... Wow. I just came off of a weekend with destiny, prior to it's release it didn't follow it one bit, I try not to follow 'hype' for movies or games they always sell the game too much. For those who have lost their virginity I'm sure it wasn't as exciting as the years of 'practice' and anticipation that goes into it. ANYWAY I've only had 9 hours play but see that I'm close to lvl 20 and the final playing area..... Initially I thought I'd be playing on a galactic scale and all this in depth rpg style stuff, disappointing maybe people find destiny.. It's FUN there's nothing like running into a horde assault rifle firing and snapping to the sniper and blowing off the 'big guys' head an snapping back to spraying the rifle in seconds... That feeling of being a beast never gets old. I find this game is definatley intended to be played with friends, fire teaming is definatley an adrenaline rush seeing who stands on the biggest pile of bodies. Or being last man standing and making that heroic run surrounded by gribbles to make that desperate revive knowing that you look like a badass on their spectator cams.. I've seen a lot of complaining about the drops of loot, I think people that focused on loot should play diablo. I played a few games of pvp (started horrible) but came top 4 a few times with a common rifle and really enjoyed myself at around lvl 12-14 so i didn't feel the frustration that some people are getting with damage 211 rifles and somehow needing more. All in all destiny must of done something right it's fun, I want more. Maybe after a good week of gaming and getting into the 20-30+ hours I may get tired of it. It's just got that classic style gaming of turn console on, kick ass, turn off. The epic story telling and expansive gameplay isn't really there but the play style that allows replay value is. So at this point I'm happy a good fun game I look forward to playing more. -- I hope that tom clancy's 'the division' doesn't flop on release like destiny has been said to disappoint, similar genre as destiny let's see how it's interpreted in 'the division' Maybe New York will be bigger than the solar system in destiny.
