BOAR error code on ps3. What do i do? :(
I'm getting boar error code on my ps3. What do i do? When i download the 169 mb data it says EXPANSION CONTENT MISSING! I've tried uninstalling it and downloading it again still not working! Please help!

This will delete the downloaded game if you got the e version and you'll have to download the 6 gig game again. Delete game data utility. Under game menu of ps3, go up to game data utility. Highlight for Destiny and press triangle. Delete. Highlight game itself, press triangle. Check for update. Reinstall update. Start game. Follow blue ps store window instructions. Download packs 2 and 1. Reinstall disc content, and mine skipped the ps store download process and I was able to play. It does not delete progress in the game. Bungie recommends creating a new account for boars, but I'd be damned if I do that! Hope it helps. That's all I know, sorry.

7 RepliesThe steps on Bungie do work if followed exactly. Uninstall Destiny from your system. Create a new account in the United Kingdom. You can put any address in as long as UK is the region. Put your disc in and select it to begin the update. Here is the crucial step I think people aren't doing. Once this initial update is finished, DO NO PRESS THE X BUTTON TO PLAY. Close the game and switch to your original user account. Now start the game again and press X to play. It will bring up a dialogue to install the Compatibility Pack. Do this and you should be playing soon.

i only got the game 2 weeks ago enjoying it now this bungie plz do something plzz help dont let the best game be destroyed thx all online bros and ladies relax they have prob seen thousands of comments about this so just report dont be rude

Delete the game file then download it again but when u get to the 1gb update press the ps button and it should take u to ps store with compatibility pack 1 just download that and it should work. I tried all bungies tips none of them worked

3 RepliesThis is what I did. Take the game out of the PS3 Uninstall from Game Data Utility Put game in and follow prompts You will have to reinstall the game but that's what I did and I just got done. It's now letting me on

6 RepliesBoar Fehler, Seit dem update heute erscheint immer der fehler boar. Selbst nach den Anweisungen der Fehlerbehebung. Es ist einfach nur unglaublich was hier immer wieder Fehler auftauchen. Ihr solltet das schnellst möglich beheben, sonst werden vile das Spiel wieder verkaufen.

Go to your Psn store and update it which it should do automatically, then once it's finish go back to destiny and download. Worked for me.

7 RepliesTHIS IS IMPORTANT! I believe we're receiving "boar" because the update can't install, because it can't connect to PSN. PSN is undergoing maintenance RIGHT NOW, and will for the next couple hours. The error should be gone by tomorrow.

7 Repliesi just loaded destiny and noticed the same thing. ive been doing some searching and eventually found out psn is doing an update as well. the content to play destiny is a download from the psn. since psn was down and you couldnt order and download it. right now psn is back up and you can now download your content. please note this file is 1141 mb and will take some time.

2 RepliesThe above stuff did not work for me on PS3, but here's what did: when it says it's downloading content, before it errors out, press the PS button in the middle of your controller. It brought up the Compatibility Pack screen for me, from where I was able to install the game. Hope this helps.

6 RepliesI tried to look for new update and hit triangle on the game in menu to search for update and it gave a 25mb update. I then tried to load game and it briefly shows the new update screen but gives me a BOAR error message. I have had the game for over a month - why would I get this now? Any help please?

First, I received the error notice "that I did not have enough memory" so I went in and cleaned up my memory. Afterwards, I rebooted the game and received the "boar error code". So I went back into memory and deleted everything related to DESTINY and rebooted the game and it worked like a charm. The expansion contact loaded plus game content and xbox game store downloads.

11 RepliesHey man. I spent the last 2 hours surfing these forums hoping to find an actual fix to this stupid problem. First, I made a EUR account. Did not work. Then I made a US account. Now i'm downloading the Destiny Compatibility Pack 1 and I didn't get the Boar error. Before this, though, I deleted Destiny's data before opening the game. I'm on my US account right now, downloading it. Try to do what I did. I remade an account in the UK, and when that didn't work, I remade one in US. I'm gonna repost this comment to other posts about this so it can be seen more. Godspeed, online bro. I really really hope this works for you.
