never buying bungie again

Ya so with the lack of information on when this stupid error code nonsense will be fixed (mind you if I just got some kind of estimate or acknowledgement that this problem will be fixed I wouldn't be writing this) I am vowing to never purchase a bungie product again if this problem is not fixed soon. I'm sick of this and I've never been so disappointed in a game in my life. And before you all just tell me to fix my network and all that crap, I've done it all, I spent my entire day off work messing with my network and being let down over and over. I want my money back. And I want to see bungie step up and apologize for this utter disappointment

  • It seems everyone expects a game to be perfect day one no bugs. Chill out, it's not the end of the world it will be fixed. Do you make it through your day never making mistakes, didn't think so. No one is perfect, and the things we create reflect that. Get over yourself. Don't give up so easily on things you will live a happier life.

  • Well first off Bungie has sent multiple acknowledgments about all of the error codes. I'm sorry if you haven't looked very hard (or at all). I also don't think you understand the complexity of errors codes. If the fix was quick and simple there wouldn't be problems.

  • The game just came out. Servers are flooded and still flooding. Relax. Bungie will take care of it within a week or so.

    • Hey guys. A fella named DataLV426 offered a great solution. This may not work for you but it fixed my Caterpillar error problem. I had to configure my ISP so that the filters which blocked P2P were set to zero. If that doesn't make sense, please read the thread here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/69185054/0/0/1 I couldn't play more than 5 minutes before, but now I'm up and running with no problems. I don't know if this fix is only helpful to people in Japan, but I guess the method should apply to anyone anywhere. I hope it can help you out.

      • As much as I understand why you're upset, I feel like this should be in the feedback forum.
