Not receiving Vanguard Mark
Hello, I'm having a problem with Vanguard Mark when handing bounty in and other stuff it says on the screen that I got some Vanguard Mark, e.g. like +50 but when I go to look at how much I have it still says 0 i've been having this problem since yesterday

4 RepliesHe's right ! I've done loads of bounties and patrols, you get vanguard rep and marks for doing them, but I'm only getting rep ! This has been going on for a few days now ! Come on #Bungie SORT IT I OUT !!! I want my vanguard weapons now I'm rank 3 !!! CRUCIBLE Marks are fine

Bounties only give you rep. To get marks you have to do strikes or public events.

that 50 was a reputation, if that was a mark then you can max out the week limit of 100. do tiger strikes and get marks.

The first way is with your vanguard reputation, you can see how much vanguard reputation you have by going to the Vanguard Quartermaster next to the Shipmaster in the tower (where you got your ship) You can also see the vanguard reputation at by talking to the vanguard this is also where you go to buy the gear. on the left hand side you will have a big circle hover over it and it will say how much more vanguard reputation you need till you get the next rank. In the circle will also say what rank you are. (Before you able to buy gear you will need to be rank 2) Each time you level up your rank you will get vanguard marks. How do you level up your rank ? here is a list below bounties portal missions Vanguard strike playlist (some player straiks give you more then vanguard reputation, some give you vanguard marks and vanguard reputation gear) And some other ways (these are the only ways that I know of at the moment) The second way of getting them is by doing Vanguard strike playlist. You can find the strike playlist by going to orbit and on the right hand side to the earth you will see to shapes one saying vangaurd and the other saying crucible click the vanguard one, you will then see 4 option the first one give the rewards of vanguard gear and vanguard reputation the other 3 gives you vanguard marks, gear and reputation. This way is by doing player strikes this will get you vanguard marks, also will give you vanguard reputation and vanguard armor. When going into the player strik menu there will be 4 options to play the first one will only give you vanguard reputation and armor and the other 3 will give you vanguard marks, vanguard reputation and armor. 2 RepliesAccording to the patch notes vanguard marks and crucible marks can only be obtained once you hit level 18 now, hope this helps :-)

3 RepliesEdited by Hippo_Legacy: 9/10/2014 3:40:15 AMWell there are two different things, there's your faction points you get for completing the patrol missions, and those are different from the vanguard markers which actually allow you to purchase weapons and gear. I believe the bounties give you the faction points not the actual markers. So you may want to check on that.

1 ReplyYou're probably looking at rank, go to the vanguard armoury next to the shipwright and put the cursor over the large emblem, it'll say ??/??? However many points you have and how many you need.
