So, it says "While inside Ward of Dawn you and your allies gain significant damage resistance."
I thought the Ward of Dawn already protected against all incoming fire... I'm confused. What does this mean?
Edit: Right...enemies can walk into it, so if they do that, you'll be at an advantage because of the armor bonus. I didn't think of that because I played/will play PvE most of the time, and NPCs never came that close.

Enemies both PvE and PvP can still walk inside the WoD to attack you. Just like they could in Halo 3 when you deployed a bubble shield.

Likely people will be able to walk through ward of dawn to kill you. Their bullets will not. If someone walks through it you will gain a significant advantage and in pvp terms you will win in a 1v1. To counter this you will need a strong force to kill you while in the shield or your enemies will wait for it to finish so they can then kill you.

The only way to combat the WoD would be to close ground and move inside of it. With this ability even that strategy will be ineffective. Make sense?

It does, but what if you drop it on a capture point and someone walks right in the ward with a shotgun? I believe you'll be benefitted in situations like that but we don't know yet
