Well if I knew that I would have already played the entire game. What I have found interesting about the image of the traveller and the information available is that the Traveller seems to be either falling apart or is being taken part by humanity. Another possibility is that those pieces of the traveller that are "missing" maybe what Ghost are made out of, because we know that Ghost were created by the traveller to aid Guardians. We also know that the Traveller gave humanity and its allies it's light to help protect us against our enemies. Here is my theory, there is nothing inside the traveller now. The traveller gave it's internal light, essence, structure to the Ghost and the Guardians. Whats left is only some sort of protection protocol. Therefore I think in order for the Traveller to come back to "life" the Ghost and the Light inside Guardians, along with their Ghost might have to be siphoned off, either partly or entirely. Another possibility is that orb called the Traveller is just a highly sophisticated ship and the traveller is the being that occupies(ed) the ship. Maybe the being called the Traveller was captured by the Vex, Cabel, Fallen or the Hive? Or even more likely, it has gone into hiding in our Solar system. Our enemies are searching through our system to find and kill the light, which will be a harbinger for the Darkness to return? But to clearly answer your question, there is nothing inside the orb we call the Traveller. In the hundreds of years since the collapse I am sure Human, Awoken and Exo alike have examined and search as deep inside the Traveller as possible and have found nothing. In the game trailers they consistently say the line, "It is not who you were, only what you will become". Could that mean that one or all of the Guardians are the Traveller? I do not know but I think the same logic can be placed on the Traveller. What it was does not matter but what it will be is a greater mystery still to be solved. - "Audentes fortuna iuvat", Guardian
