As I was reading through the feedback forums I found a good bit of people being disappointed in the game because there was no offline mode. Here's the thing. Bungie would not DARE to release an offline mode in the alpha or the beta. Mainly because the only way we can connect to destiny is through their servers. And when they close the servers, they want nobody to be playing destiny while they work on the game itself. So if they released an offline mode people would still be playing the beta, AND the alpha. And bungie don't want dat. They would probably wait until the game is released. So they are probably going to make an offline mode, or they won't, I don't know! We will only tell when the game is released. (Or an announcement)
