Are just too awesome! Guardians of the Galaxy has so much wit and zaniness to it, it's not even funny. It's extremely funny! Very reminiscent to the fun had in Sci-fi flicks like Galaxy Quest and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. So many times were there moments that made you question the authenticity of practical physics and social structures, but that's the kind of thing you come to expect from Marvel and for some strange reason it works! At Some point you just gotta say why-the-hell-not. Although, I do have 3 serious questions that I would love to have answered if possible. 1.) It has come to my attention that almost every sentient being in the known galaxy speaks english one way or another and almost every quadrant of habitable planetary systems seems to foster human beings. Is this relevant to Earth? Did the human species and our dominant language branch out from Earth? 2.) Aside from Rocket being some crazy genetically modified experiment with anger issues, who can talk, walk on his hind legs and is very proficient with firearms; how come he doesn't know what a racoon is? Isn't he originally from Earth? 3.) I'm a bit confused with the color code of the infiniti stones that I'm familiar with in the comics compared to their film adaptations. In Guardians we are presented with a purple stone (gem-like in nature), but I know it's not the space stone bacause that's what the Tesseract (blue and cube-like in nature) is. Loki's scepter (also emitting a blue tinted glow) is, you guessed it, the mind stone. Then there's the misconception of the Aether (red swirling mass of energy) being the reality stone, but in reality it's actually the power stone. So what infinity stone is being brought to attention in Guardians? While discussing please avoid possible -SPOILERS- out of respect for those who haven't seen Guardians yet.
