I need help with my account! Also, some objective ideas that I think would make Destiny a better experience if you're willing to listen.

(The help portion of this comment is in the P.S. at the very end, it says I didn't play the beta and my character isn't in the app, but I definitely played the beta! Please help!) The rest of this post was intended for the feedback section (where it won't let me post because it says I'm not a player). Please hear me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Here is the summary if you don't want to read my whole comment: My time with the game felt very lonely (there could be insulting jokes toward me here, but seriously, for the game, please). I wanted to play with other people but it was really hard to communicate and start strike teams. The game needs a better way for players to meet and communicate to form teams to play the co-op, whether in the form of better communication options in the Tower or matchmaking for every co-op mission, not just the special ones. I've been playing video games for a very long time. This is probably a cliche way to start a comment here, but I've played all the Halos and a few MMOs. That being the case, there are some things that I felt were lacking in the beta, mainly in the area of communication. I filled up my Xbox Live friends' list playing Halo 2. I haven't added too many friends since then. Most of my friends on Xbox Live weren't playing Destiny and most of my friends in real life don't have Xbox Live. THIS MADE THE BETA EXCEPTIONALLY LONELY. I know that there is no way I'm the only person that played almost all the missions alone. The idea here is that it's sort of a mix of an MMO and an FPS yet if you want to go to The Tower and get people to go on missions with you, you have to go through a series of button presses just to invite them to a party which you then have to wait to see if they even respond or want to play the same mission as you. There either needs to be a better way to communicate between players or (and I think this really should be there already), there should be matchmaking for EVERY MISSION should you choose to use it. I don't want to play every mission by myself, but I also don't want to have to go to the tower and painfully try to get a few people to join my group with me every time I want to play co-op. There should also be an option to prioritize players with microphones. Only once did I interact with another player with a microphone in my hours playing the beta, and it was because he invited me to a strike team. Frankly, I don't understand how these things were overlooked in the first place. This is supposed to be a social online shooter, and yet it felt like an exceptionally lonely experience. Bungie please hear me out and do something, (anything!) to improve this aspect of the Destiny experience. With love, just another fan in the bunch, HOLDERofFOOD P.s. I totally played tons of the beta on this account but neither this website nor the IOS app seem to have any record of my account. I'd love any help!

    • PS hit me up on live if you get the game and need someone to play with. I'm not positive I'll get it, but if there's nothing better than might as well.

      • I completely agree with you. I've been a fps gamer for most of my gaming career so most of my friends didn't really care that another MMO was coming out. I had to be the random creep at the tower sending a bunch of fire team invites until I finally found 1 or 2 guys to play with. I'm not a big fan of playing anything by myself. The ability to play with friends is why I've always loved games. I remember when xbox live came out and you could play with your friends without having to go anywhere it was the greatest thing ever. However, I don't think this one feature will sway me into loving or hating the game. Fortunately it's a pretty easy fix and I have seen more people complaining about it so I'm sure Bungie will do something. I just got bored with the game by the end of the beta even playing with people sometimes.
