CoD Ghosts has already made a lot of it's fans stop playing. I actually think the new CoD looks interesting, and I might actually play the single player for the first time ever. destiny though, I've been waiting for this game since I saw the preview. i will be playing this much more than any game I've had in a long time. I'm already sad we have to wait for the release after jamming the beta!

CoD is a powerhouse title that will always make a splash. It will always sell millions of copies and chance are will also have a high trade in rate. In the end only CoD can kill itself. Which seems to be its current direction.
-
CoD is getting worse and worse. All the little kids and lame high school students who think oh my KD is so great cause all I use are over powered weapons and lame camping equips. Like the shot gun-bouncing Betty-shock charge combo in bo2. LMG-target finder-silencers. It's just a bunch of unskillful crap I've ever seen/played.
-
I hope CoD does so it keeps all of the nobheads out of Destiny
-
My entire being despises CoD MW and up.
-
CoD has established a large, faithful fanbase over the past 10 or so years. Destiny is a completely new series of games. Granted, many bungie fans and others have hopped on the bandwagon thanks to activisions advertising and ability to get word out, but it still wont compare (sales-wise) to cod. I predict Destiny to be a better quality game, but it will def not sell more than cod. Tbh i hope im wrong about the sales thing. I want destiny/bungie to excel.
-
Serious question time... How is this feedback?
-
Apples and oranges. CoD fanboys will always be. And Bungie fanboys will always be. Never ending pissing match.
-
I don't think either will "triumph" over the other. I expect Destiny to be better but I expect COD to sell more copies. Personally I've thought the PvP of COD was too twitchy and after MW3 (I only played MW1-3) I thought that the whole MW storyline/ending was meh. Which is why I'm actually going to trade in my COD games towards my Destiny preorder.

The comparison between the games is hard to say the least but this is not what this forum is about but keep in mind Call of Duty is more of a competitive game and Destiny revolves around skill. Just a reminder.
-
On a serious note...Call of Duty is dying. Every game they create is making their franchise look worse. Call of Duty is now a game for kids because they focus on them. They know they can sucker kids in the stupid and silly game they make. Duck camo on a gun!? Come on! A skateboard park multiplayer map? Who will buy this the most? KIDS! How much longer will Call of Duty go until it's repetitive? They are already at "Call of Duty Advance Warfare" What's next? "Call of Duty Even More Advance War" Call of Duty was great but now their focus is on kids and money (money hungry) sooo they ruined it...I don't know how many kids are into Destiny but I hope not much. They wouldn't understand a real game like Destiny. They want their stupid Taco Camo Guns and quick scoping, playing at some arcade arena! Call of Duty can keep them! Do not ruin a amazing game like Destiny.

COD is a garbage game. That said there are many people out there that only buy COD and madden or FIFA simply because they don't know there are better games on the market. True gamers are not the majority of the market and sadly cod is more of a social thing than a game. That said I'm glad cod exists simply because it gets rid of most of the people we don't want to play with. There's no doubt Destiny is gona be better than cod as most games are better than cod but cod will outsell destiny.
-
Personally destiny...cod fanbase is dropping and what ppl was waiting for is the next big shooter.being sold the same crap over and over eventually some of the mature audience cod once had and most of the mature audience once played and loved halo and I got ppl who wasnt even into shooters or pvp and because of destiny they are loving it so in turn I choose destiny
-
Destiny is great, but cod has an established player base and the pvp is snappier than destiny's. It will do better in sales and do better, not to mention it's a simpler shooter than destiny. That means a bigger audience. Although I far prefer destiny, it won't be a so called "cod killer"
-
Call of Duty will remain a big player in the video game industry. Destiny will have their playerbase and so will CoD. I'll admit, Ghosts was easily the worst CoD in the entire franchise and it's sad to say that because MW2 was one of, if not the, greatest CoD to date. Infinity Ward is nothing but a ghost (Pun intended) of its former self. After the original minds behind MW2 parted ways from Infinity Ward the quality of games they put out really took a dive. Most everyone I know on the PS4 I met through CoD and they've all preordered Advanced Warfare except me, I have my reservation and am not completely sure I'm going to even purchase it at this point. I wasn't a fan of MW3 either and Sledghammer is coming back to make this next one so I may just take a pass. Perhaps when Treyarch comes around with another title I will.
-
Call of duty will prevail if you play crucible alone and you are prevented from chatting with the rest of team because they are not in your fireteam.
-
COD will maintain it's absurdly large player base and continue to sell, regardless of how inferior I personally find it to be in comparison
-
If Destiny ran at 60 FPS i think it would break even with COD If not surpass. but at 30 FPS, i dont think so, it wont even come close.
-
I don't think either game will "dominate" over the other. For several reasons, including that destiny has story progress having a direct impact with how you do in the PvP, along with the differences in gameplay. There will definitely be people who prefer the "pure PvP" that cod offers. While others love destiny's approach. (Me being one of them.)
-
CoD will be the same as all the others. Plenty of other games offering better multiplayer now (BF and titanfall). Production values won't save It from being a clone!
-
100% Destiny. "Proud of you guys, fellow destinians."
-
Why the hell is this even a question?
-
I plan on having both. Most of my time will probably go to Destiny though. I like to pick up the new cods used from game stop, beat them in like 3 days and then return them. I'll keep it if I like it
